And they are proud of it and they are happy to give best playing players a chance to show off. It was criticized and here I am with IEM proving my point of view. (after this event) I absolutely love the way they do it. Who cares if there were no invited terrans or open bracket had little to none players? The players played they hearts out and the games were amazing. They gave exposure to locals (PiG in analysis desk, young Singaporean player with no liquipedia page invited to for insight into final PvT), they gave exposure to players who wanted to prove what they are worth. Can't wait for seeing IEM Katowice live!

Still impressed how Grubby manages to stay on top such a long time (in two different titles)... Anyway, cool play from Sting

Then he followed it up with an amazing game against Sting....some of the best blink micro I've ever seen. I've always kinda thought grubby was "ok," but since I was never a WC3 fan, I didn't get what the hype was all about....after watching him in this tournament, even though he didn't win, I'm definitely a fan of him! Great tournament overall, I had a good time watching the FFA...pretty hilarious!

Jjaki himself thought he would be invited to more events by winning a GSL, and they just never came to him. It's more or less up to other people whether or not he would've gotten big, I mean, he played some of the best games in SC2 history during his peak.. Is it really his fault? So it's NSH's fault for not sending Jjakji to more foreign tournaments? In that case that really sucks. Looking at their active roster in general and considering everyone who has left, how are they still afloat? O_o
