Hello TL Staff! This is a question for the Liquipedia folks.
I would like to make a web site that does some simple statistical analysis on players and matches. To do this I would need to download ("scrape") the data from the matches from Liquipedia using automated scripts that I write. I would like to ask your permission to do this before I start.
I would try to make sure that I'm never overloading the servers, so I would never make more than say one request per second. I would always attribute the data to Liquipedia and provide links back to Liquipedia. The web site would not be a for-profit enterprise.
Is it okay if I do this?

No, sorry. The wiki is quite resource intensive and we don't allow scraping as it causes unnecessary server load.

A question for R1CH, hypothetically would u be able to tell, if "Jeremy Reimer" goes ahead with w/e he is doing (i dont know what he's doing lol i know nothing about computers hahah)

How do you view long threads?
I personally read OP + 2 pages of discussion then last 2 pages. It really irritates me when half of the first 2 threads are armchair moderators musing whether this should be a thread or not.

What if I limit the scraping to one HTTP request per, say, 30 seconds? Or one per one minute, or per five minutes, etc?

Any news on when the EU store will be up? Saw a blog which said approx 17th. Just wondering as i really would like a mouse mat and pin badge, but the shipping cost is putting me off a little.
