pretty funny now Yep, and i was also thinking about Nada fanboys saying "Nada has the best tvt, Iris has a better record just because he had easier opponents lolz"... Do they start to realize now that Iris has for sure the best tvt at the moment? I am Nada fanboy, but don't support that thought. Also disagree that Iris is "the best tvt at the moment". I say at least they're even with Nada.
the notion that iris played lesser opponents is not up for debate
whether nada is best tvt certainly is, however

in my opinion it all depends from the current shape of the players.. its hard to say definately X or Y is best ,even "best ATM".. its not just that simple.
i think when we r talkin bout pro level we should not underestimate anyone simply cuz they are pro's this is what they do for living ok? and last but not least .. everyone can beat everyone so i put these guys you compare even and respect them too!

I still don't know how you can say they're even. I'd really like them to meet, maybe it can happen in Shin han all stars. Iris 2006 record proves he has a good tvt, especially when you know, as someone stated earlier, that 4 loss come from Casy who also has a very good tvt. Sure Nada also have a great record, and no one can say his tvt is weak. But even if he actually manages to win the games, i don't think he wins as easily as Iris usually does. Iris gets clear wins, he looks in control of the game, even when he's behind in early game like today. imo doesn't always looks so good, even if he eventually wins the game, like against Dongrae or Upmagic.
Now, they just played the same (good) opponent bo5, a week apart and you can't see the difference?
|
Eh... Casy has never won 3rd/4th. Last time he played Pusan for 3rd/4th and he went 0-3 too.
Man, talk about a dead repeat of Shinhan OSL. SICK.

Shinhan OSL Season 3 5-8th Matches Game 1: YellOw[ArnC] 5 o'clock > 1 o'clock FireBatHero @ Neo Arkanoid Game 2: ZergMaN 1 o'clock > 7 o'clock Much @ Neo Arkanoid Winner's: ZergMaN 6 o'clock > 2 o'clock YellOw[ArnC] @ Reverse Temple Loser's: FireBatHero 8 o'clock > 6 o'clock Much @ Reverse Temple
5th Seed: ZergMaN 6th Seed: YellOw[ArnC] 7th place: FireBatHero 8th place: Much
Last two don't mean squat, they still go to ODT, ZergMaN and YellOw[ArnC] get 5th and 6th seeds in the next OSL. The Shinhan Masters Invitational is actually being decided on points. So even if you go to the finals in one OSL and play like crap in the next two (cough cough ChOJJa) you're probably not going to get invited. Actually, this is slighly incorrect.
Game 1: YellOw[ArnC] 5 o'clock > 1 o'clock FireBatHero @ Neo Arkanoid Game 2: ZergMaN 1 o'clock > 7 o'clock Much @ Neo Arkanoid Winner's: ZergMaN 6 o'clock > 2 o'clock YellOw[ArnC] @ Reverse Temple Loser's: FireBatHero 8 o'clock > 6 o'clock Much @ Reverse Temple Final: FireBatHero > YellOw[ArnC] @ Longinus 2
5th place: ZergMaN 6th place: FireBatHero 7th place: YellOw[ArnC] 8th place: Much
And as for the seeds, NO ONE, gets seeded this time. Only top 3, like it use to be,.. so savior, nada, iris are seeded. Atleast this is most likely. There still needs to be confirmation but it seems like there is no 5/6 seeds.
This placement match is only for masters points.

I searched but couldn't find how exactly ODT works. Any direction/hints? Nvm, found it.

There is no more winner of ODT
There used to be a Challenge League (then called ODT round 1) and the Dual League (called ODT round 2)
Winner of Challenge league (ODT round 1) would get a seed, but that tournament doesn't exist anymore. It's now -> offline prelims (where Reach keeps on losing ) And then directly ODT round 2.
So unless they put the ODT R1 back, I don't know where they'll get their 4th seed

Wow. Midway through game 3 in the NAda/Casy game, I was like "aw man, Casy playing like shit, can't believe this!" Then he pulled his shit together and played awesome. I was hoping for more of the same, except this time, Iris shut the door.
I don't think this one series is definitive proof that Iris > Casy ez. Casy just wasn't playing at his best, whereas Iris was pretty good. I mean, you can easily argue Iris TvT > Casy TvT in general based on their performance in all of 2006, but I don't think these games alone say much and that people are overreacting to this domination
