Surgery's never going to help him. Re: Time off, I think he said himself that he'd rather just go hard until he burns out rather than take a long break.
I think MVP decides every couple of seasons just to not try as hard, and give himself some time to practice a ton outside of competition and then come back strong. He's had a couple of really good GSL seasons now, so it's time to him to hang out in the periphery for a while and level up before he comes back

Hellion production started, 2 at a time.
Creator tries to get down a forward Pylon, is spotted.
Creators main army moving out, botches some forcefields but catches the Hellions.
Protoss moves up, gets the Bunker down after a while as he only gets down a single forcefield.
Banshee and Cloak for Mvp finishes, but Creator is already in the main and doing massive damage. GG is called!
Creator takes out Mvp 2-0 and finishes second in the group, Mvp goes down in third place.
