Eligibility to Enter
+ Show Spoiler +
All leagues and all players are able to enter as long as they can play on the EU BNet server. If players have major scheduling issues with the RO16 section of the tournament their place will be offered to a different player. Wardí reserves the right to deny participation to any player if it is deemed necessary.
Tournament Format
+ Show Spoiler +
After the qualifiers we will have 16 players entering into the RO16. Each group will have a seeded player from the Summer League. They will take turns (based on their seeding) to pick the players which will be in their group.
The RO16 will be GSL style groups - 5 BO3s of Winner vs Winner, Loser vs Loser and then Winner vs Winner. This is to minimize amount of games to be played and make organizing casting etc easier.
Top two of each group advance into the single elimination bracket at the RO8 stage at which point it will be 1st Place vs 2nd Place from the groups for all quarter finals. RO8 and RO4 will be BO5. The grand finals will be BO7.

Rules
+ Show Spoiler +
Behaviour + Participation
- Players must check in 30 minutes before start time of qualifiers if they wish to play.
If players have severe scheduling issues we will regrettably have to remove you from the league (this means you literally can NEVER play your games - we will cast from replays if necesary)
- Whining/BM in Winter League games will result in a removal from the tournament and possibly from all future SC2Improve events.
- Typing “gg” at any point of the game (apart from opening greetings + gls) before your opponent will count as forfeiting the game (i.e. no BM ggs)
- Any form of cheating will result in removal from the event.
- If games are being streamed then spectators will not be allowed.
- If a game is not being streamed spectators are allowed if both players agree to the spectating.
- If a spectator disrupts the game in anyway or is found to be helping one player both the player and spectator will be removed from SC2Improve events.
Games + Maps
- Maps must be played on the specified versions unless there is an issue.
- If you are AFK for 10 minutes from the first possible start point of your game in a qualifier then you will be DQed from the qualifier and your opponent awarded a walk over.
- Veto down to first map into loser picks
- The winning player does get to veto one map before the loser picks.
The rules are subject to be added to as seen fit and Wardí’s decision is final.
