You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |

I didn't see the replay but I think what he means is that Nerffy's vision (if he hadn't been hacking) should have shown him a CC there, but his maphack showed him that, for whatever reason, his opponent had moved or lost the CC and the base was now in fact free for a nexus to be planted.

Yeah, that's what doesent make sense to me. Seems like a gimmick thing to call ''absolute maphack proof''

MittRomneyUS NA Server Diamond 2(I'm high masters, it's a new account. 30 win streak) http://drop.sc/266162 At beginning goes straight to my natural, doesn't even go up ramp and blocks it. Builds 5 cannons blindly vs roach rush.

He admitted to map hacking and then built some ridiculous bunker wall at his bottom ramp vs my proxy rax. All of this without seeing a single a building or even being aware of my spawn location.

MittRomneyUS
Proxy 2 gate in base without scouting. High masters. Going to bed--I'll upload the replay tomorrow.
Edit: Sounds like this is an AKA of a confirmed hacker, so I won't bother. FWIW, the replay shows he's 100% a hacker. It was on Condemned Ridge and he put great care into pathing his probe into my base without coming in view of the minerals or my nexus.

No idea why you guys keep reporting Nerffy. Before I saw any reports on the guy, I called him out on hacking as it was obvious. What did he do, he stopped using watchtowers and all of that other stuff legit players would do, and he just kinda owned up to it by not refuting it and trying to pretend he wasn't. In my eyes, since that's a first for me, I'd rather proxy gaters/cannon rushers get banned than that guy. If someone is hacking, it's merely better practice to play against them, although nerffy is so bad it doesn't really matter. I'd rather the guy get an asterisk on his account or something and ban the people that don't own up to it. I can't respect that, at all.

I'd rather proxy gaters/cannon rushers get banned than that guy. If someone is hacking, No................................... ban them all even though it can potentially be 'better' practice, it certainly doesn't hurt the community. Massive harms, minor gains.

I'm just saying, it's really refreshing to see someone finally be like "yeah, I'm hacking. That's my choice." If you want to cheat, at least try to have some semblance of being a man. At least the kid mans up to it. I'd rather see legit players get banned... You have to give the guy credit for being the first cheater to at least have 1 testicle. A guy cannon rushing every game should have less dignity, for sure.

you think that's really refreshing? that's your definition of manning up to something? we have to give this hacker credit for being a jerkoff? i don't agree with any of your views, and i think the majority of people who contribute to this thread don't either.

It's a ladder. It's just for practice. Everyone knows the guys hacks. He's not going to be getting into teams and taking spots away from deserving players or knocking people out of tournaments. If he does, then yeah, that's a problem to me. But, he's not. He's so bad, too. If you lose, whether he is cheating or not, really just have to blame yourself. If you know he cheats, try to play more straight up/not rely on as much luck I guess and then take the win.
There's just too many people that are hacking that are actually trying to do some sort of job hiding it. I'd rather reward the first honest one than think that no in the world will ever be truthful about anything if society might frown upon it. The first one to be honest is the first one to get punished. I think that sets a bad example and leads to nothing productive. I'd rather worry about catching people that are actually trying to get away with something.

why do you fantasize about having to ban one or the other? you're arguing a stance on a non-existing issue here, just to compliment a hacker. i don't see why you bother.
edit: (and now we're derailling thread, sorry. i'll shut up.)

No.
The ladder is not just for practice. To professionals playing in tournaments, yeah maybe that's true. For the more casual amateurs, the ladder is meant to be climbed. We take pleasure in moving up the ladder, and it pisses us off when 1/20 people we play are map hacking and stealing points from us.

MMG NA Server Maphack? (I'm masters, he was plat.) http://drop.sc/266294 I'm not really sure if he is map-hacking. He did 0 scouting and hit all my anti timings really well. He also defended a drop with 0 scouting, though you could argue he deduced it from my roach numbers, but the timing of it was almost too perfect imo :/
Would be cool if someone with more experience on this could look. He is the least scouting terran I have ever played at least.
