Going very heavy marines with a few ghost and try to go before the BLs perhaps too. Viking wont cut it, specially 0/0 against 3/3. you just have to play bio/thor... you can't go that corrupter heavy.. terran should have caught on and switched Thor might be good too yeah. I think TOP play in the last 10min of the game wasn't really good. He seems unsure what to do even when 50 supply ahead.
That's classic TOP. Hardcore macro, but nothing too special elsewhere. He's kind of like a Terran version of Ret. When you enter the late-game with a significant lead due to superior macro, you have a larger margin of error than your opponent and thus don't train your late-game as well since you can afford to play sub-optimally.

I don't see how you can justify building 40+ vikings over the course of the game, never bother investing a single upgrade for them (against 3/3 corruptors), and expect to achieve anything.

That's clearly a big mistake, no denial. But even with 2/0 viking ( usually what player get when they're up on it ) it would not have work I think.
I always love Terran players in these spots. "Fuck it I lose the previous half hour long macro game, I'll just proxy 11/11 the fucker. " No offence obviously.

scarlett got punished for her late pool

We mentioned the mind games a lot, I hope you tuned into the whole broadcast.
she was really far ahead all game long. Saying that Top is ahead b/c of food is one of the silliest things ever. If that were the case just 1 base every single time and you'll have more food than your opponent.
If you ask pros, i guarantee 99% of them will say she was ahead all game long.
I'll stop using actually. Thank you for noting!

I don't mean to be argumentative but a Terran hiding the fact that he is expanding behind his wall is a pretty obvious move. I mean I realize he correctly gambled on having Scarlett overreact at the loss of some mining time(for floating the CC) but Terrans do this in my diamond scrub games and I wouldn't call any of us geniuses...

Top just threw it away with poor macro.

I do not like this focus on fast siege tanks.

Me neither. It's such a passive play. Not so good against zerg standart play which is to not punish the third and mostly not care about it.
Would be fine with Mehc behind it I think. You could try Hellion runby during this.

Really? I hate when I scout a Terran last on a four player map as it is always a coin flip as to whether they are expanding or going for an all in. Maybe it is one of those things that is considered bad by talented players so at high enough levels it can catch players by surprise as in this game. But yeah this happens pretty often in diamond. Seems like a pretty intuitive move given that CCs can float and Terran all ins scare the bejeezus out of me.

TOP would probably have won this fight 1 year ago, when creep was not here for sure. :p
+3 attack from zerg finish before +1 attack for terran There's a SMAAAL problem when that happen.

Oh. Are you kidding, TOP.

Horrible play from TOP. Not even 1 attack at the 17' mark while he built his EB so early... Really...

very very impressive from scarlet beating top, a GSL code s finalist. That is a super impressive feat.

Well to be fair, TOP has been to the Code S finals more recently than Nestea. Just sayin.
