Best of luck to him. why do you say that? also gl jo-lo
He probably said it because mastering a computer game does not necessarily create a strong foundation for your professional life. Your 20s are when you are learning the ropes and becoming seasoned in any professional endeavor -- transitioning from pro gamer into this world in your late 20s has proven difficult for some.
SC2 players are intelligent and capable though.
All the best jEcho.

GoSujEcho, I'm certain of this.

Good luck to jEcho for the future!

Can't wait to see where he goes next. You did just read that he's not planning to join a new team, right? Where did he say that. It's not explicitly stated.
Oh, my apologies. It just sounded a lot like he was jumping off the SC2-train for a while to focus on school.

Love this guy! Hope he does well in his studies!

Sad to here - he had some great potential. If he could ever go full time I'm sure we would've seen good things.
Good luck JEcho!

edit: checksix have lost 2 Z in the last few weeks , i wouldnt be surprise if they pick a new good Z

I feel like this guy is pretty underrated. Props to him for wanting to finish school. Good luck, and I wish you great success if/when you decide to return to professional StarCraft.

I definitely see him going to a solid team considering his skill and market value.
|
This sucks! I have followed him and Infinity Seven for a while. I hope they find another good player to make up for him, and I hope everything works out for jEcho!
|
Good luck with all endeavors. Hope you still stream some!
|
Good luck wherever you end up man!

Yeah that could be one of his better options. Anything can happen though.

GL JEcho! You're among my many zerg heroes, just fyi!

Sad moment for eSport. But I thought he was the British sick up and coming Zerg who joined Dignitas recently. Haha guess I was wrong. Good luck to him in his endeavors, definitely one of the most talented players out there.

Probably because he doesn't respect you. And I can see why he might not, seeing your posts in this thread.

His point still stands, dude is BM.
Still, picking studies over starcraft is probably very smart.
