A heavy punishment has been put upon MMA, the billboard star of the SlayerS team.
According to press materials released by SlayerS on the 17th of this month, MMA has been demoted to the SlayerS B-team removed from the team house. This measure initiated on the 16th of this month, while the reason for this disciplinary action remained unrevealed, cited as a internal issue of the team.
MMA was demoted to the B-team forced to leave the house and return to his home. Unlike the incident with CoCa in November of 2011, there are no issues with MMA's participation in the GSL. MMA will participate as planned, against HerO in the Code A Ro32 on the 18th.
It is reported [or "known"] that MMA is against this punishment. SlayerS states that MMA refuses to accept his demotion, and has expressed his desire to join a foreign team. However, MMA still has time remaining on his contract with SlayerS, thus he must have SlayerS' permission to join a foreign team.
Progamer Tweets:
Please don't read too deeply into these. Progamers are often as misinformed, and as quick to judge without concrete evidence, as the rest of the Starcraft II viewing populace.
@crank832: Wow, so flabbergasted as soon as I wake up...
@SlayerSRyung: Seriously? Such ridiclousness as soon as I get up?
This is the weirdest news I've heard in awhile. Wasn't MMA being groomed as the so-called "face of SlayerS?" Why would they punish him for going down to Code B?
Bit dramatic from MMA to want to join a foreign team because of one disciplinary sanction. We don't get the full picture here so it's hard to tell what the problem is; ie with Slayers, the Manager or MMA himself.

sometimes you have to beach your superstar to teach him a few lessons, happens in all sports, but kicking him out of team house... man poor MMA
Thank you for making an "official" thread about this. It is reasons like this i enjoy teamliquid so much. That other thread was getting a little bad last time i checked in. Good to know TL is on top of its stuff.
Other than that i dont have too much to say about this MMA incident other than, what could he have possibley done? Ignore practice schedule? Disrespected teammates? Who knows, at least he is still playing unhindered, though with a different practice enviroment. Hopefully this situation doesnt affect his play.

Where in the OP does it say his being punished for code B? He isn`t even in code B. They cited internal problems.
I really can't believe this, I hope the best for MMA, and Crank if it will harm him, too (the other thread mentioned Crank's twitter no longer includes 'SlayerS').
I wonder if it has anything to do with him not participating in TSL4 qualifiers. I believe he was in the first 2, then I didn't see him at all in the last 3 (it may have been 1 : 4).

That is hard to imagine, which makes me wonder if it's the sum of a lot of little things.
