If MKP's tweet relates, then perhaps MMA got into a significant salary dispute? It would perhaps explain why he wants to go to a foreign team too. We all know that korean progamers are under the impression the trees in America grow money.
IMO I think it has to do with salary since MMA has been slumping for a while. Probably that's why he want to transfer to a foreign team. Well that's just my opinion.

If it was a salary dispute, how the fk would MKP know about it? Plus, the article already stated that it was due to misbehavior, not some disagreement with the contract. MKP was most likely referring to MMA's desire to go to a foreign team, if he was referring to this situation at all

Does Slayers even pay salary? Even to MMA? I didn't think they did.
Wow. They announce no details, and Jessica hasn't even said anything on Twitter, and already half a dozen people are ready to blame her? Really guys? No, really?
It could be a number of things. MMA could have a poor mood because of his slump and he could be not getting along well with his team mates. MMA's slump could be from a lack of practice in which case there isn't really any point in promoting him or keeping him in the team house if there are SlayerS members that have a better attitude. MMA could just want to join a foreign team and isn't handling well.
Could be a lot of things and yet people are ready to pounce on Jessica and blame her because she's not the best at public relations. Classy.
Heard it here first jessica single handedly dismantles one of the korean esports powerhouses

the one thing about history is that it always tends to repeat itself.

I'm sure they did.. even if it was only to MMA. Boxer has a pretty steady income from sponsorships, I dont think SlayerS is low on money at all
Its pretty clear considering the source (Slayer's statement) that they are trying to publicly shame MMA, painting him as someone who won't accept punishments like a man, try to take the easy way out, but being stupid enough to not realize that his contract is not up yet. I would wait until we get a clearer idea on what happened.
Still, it seems pretty damn mean for an organization to treat their players like this. They should have just said that he's been demoted to B Team and leave it at that. Then release a joint statement later. Much more professional that way.

Progamers often talk to each other so MKP could know about it. And there was nothing about "misbehavior" in OP.
...while the reason for this disciplinary action remained unrevealed, cited as a internal issue of the team.

Not much information is really known or said in this statement. I hope things get resolved and that MMA can come back and be the player that he used to be.

The article said the reason for demotion is undisclosed by SlayerS.
MMA contract ends soon. He got some calls from Foreign teams with some large contract offers. He talked to Slayers about it, they punished him and kicked him out of the house for being unloyal.
His teammates are like WTF. Marineking thinks he is greedy.
I hope this gets resolved and doesn't end in a messy split up between the two. SlayerS just wouldn't seem to be the same without MMA. Now just to wait and see where this story goes.
