When I play anything with friends or even friends of friends of friends we shit on each other and trash talk constantly. I wouldn't act any differently with the public watching. The correct response to someone trash talking you is to trash talk back or beat them, not to whine publicly. Well, except that those people Naniwa shit on aren't exactly his ffriends, or friends of his friends...he's got none in the pro-scene(bar Sase)... Yeah, I have no problem with them legitimately hating each other either, it all adds to the fun. -_- Hate never adds fun...where have you been living all this time? If you're walking along the side of the highway with a jerrycan of gasoline, and a passing policeman identifies you as a known arsonist, you can expect to have to answer some questions. That isn't a double standard. That's just how it is. Same thing for DRG and Naniwa. Different players, different histories, different attitudes. Naniwa's shown a lot of improvement in all areas, including attitude imo, but he still has a history that he created that follows him around. That's his own fault and his own problem. DRG doesn't have that controversial history, and it's not because DRG was shown some sort of favoritism. Besides the question of attitude, it's just a fact that DRG is favored. DRG knows it, Naniwa knows it. If Naniwa came out and said he could do anything against DRG and win, Naniwa would just be undermining his own credibility. Let Naniwa play for two years without any manners controversy, plus establishing a record for good manners, plus let him get to the point that he's heavily favored in a matchup. Then if he says something like that about another player, nobody's going to "explode with rage", because at that point, he'll just be saying what time it is - much like DRG is now. -- For what it's worth, I think Naniwa's doing a lot better personally and professionally these days, and that he'll give DRG some pretty decent games. I don't favor Naniwa to win, but I don't think DRG's just going to steamroll. Nor do I think DRG is expecting to steamroll. I think DRG knows Naniwa has to be taken seriously, even if DRG considers that he himself is favored to win.

Naniwa took a couple of seconds to answer by himself and posted here, this is rare enough for everyone to comment about. Shocking news .... things aren't always used for what they are meant.

He has been saying Koreans are against him and that zerg is op. And the queen buff actually cause protoss to have trouble. I mean seriously if he is terran I would agree, protoss?? Queens don't affect the P v Z match up, top protoss players agree. He is the only one who says it. So what? He is a top protoss player and his opinion carries exponentially more weight than anything you have to say. So he is better then other top protoss players? I would say if we count numbers, all top protoss players agree that z v p isn't affected by queens. Protoss ladder players lose just because they are bad but they can't accept that fact so jump on the queen buff made zerg op train. Read interviews, all TOP players agree Z v P is not affected by queens. Only naniwa agrees with you. dude get out with your naniwa hate. your posts are terrible, you have no idea what you're talking about. he's making it far too personal, that's for sure All this talk about e-sports and its not okay to dislike a player? lol. You should watch football, one example being manchester united/city rivalry. If you want to talk about sc2 being a esports game, THAT is how much you should be emotionally invested in a team/player. In that case I think you've got it backwards. City/United fans can hate eachother to the point of actual harm being caused to the opposite sides fans, if anything it's regular sports that would be a better place if people wasn't so hateful. Let's not pull esports into this neverending spiral as well please.

I have gotten into rows with city bastards, but that's what makes it so good when they face each other ain't it? The dislike of each other where you just don't want to lose to them. Manchester is red.

DRG is a GSL Code-S champion, and pretty much the best zerg player in the world (zerg also being arguably the best race at the moment). Naniwa is great, but even he knows he's the underdog. Not double standards, just standard.

DRG has shown several times this season, that he is vulnerable. I think you have a good chance if you find some nice timings to throw him off. Of course maps will play a huge role here, but you'll have a fair chance. GOGO for it Several times? As in game one of today's game versus Ryung where Ryung played the best of his life? I cant think of another time he's looked vunerable in a major tournament since MLG Winter tournaments and the couple weeks that followed MLG columbus. Naniwa will only will win map and that will be because it will be on Entombed Valley.
