Do you think it is all MVP, or do you think the fact that it is the Code S finals on a giant stage might contribute some?

MVP beat Parting and Naniwa in completely different ways. MVP's ability to prepare and dictate the flow of the game is his greatest strength. He knows he can beat Squirtle in the later game, so isn't having to do 1 base builds.

But the game was not particularly telling. We cannot draw strong conclusions from MVP beating a choking protoss. No, we can only draw conclusions from the entire year of 2011 where he repeatedly smashed everyone while playing the most exquisitely well managed macro games we've yet seen from any player.

Set 2 T Mvp <Antiga Shipyard> P Squirtle Set 3 3:00 1 Barracks Expand for Mvp, no gas. 4:00 Squirtle, similarly, takes a 1 Gate expand. Mvp decides to add 3 Barracks, for a total of 4. 5:00 Squirtle adds 2 gates, for a total of 4.

MVP doesn't need to do anything special, squirtle has bad luck in game 1 and plays horrible in game 2. I don't see MVP performing, especially since he would've lost the last game, if squirtle had detection with his colossi. Game 1 came down to "luck" because Squirtle let it. He got a scout in on MVPs natural, saw no fast cc, but still did a four gate with no robo. Complete gamble, no good reason for him to be on the map at all.

Imagine, hes not even back at 100% of his condition yet. I really cant see any SC BW player to take his reign down anytime soon.

This is how Mvp Rolls, He knows how his opponents play and take advantage by doing diff things like, cheeses, etc.
