I like music. I know I'm probably going to be shit on for having an opinion on the internet... but what ever... lets do this.

Here's a cool free album that you can preview by a group called George and Jonathan. The album reminds me of a Sonic game. It's pretty rad.

Here another fun guy to listen to named Adrian Champion. He mixes Hip Hop staples with White Stripes Instrumentals... it really works. Super fun to listen to.

From here on out, any post will contain 3 artists of a particular genre... and I use the term genre loosely.

Female Adult Contemporary

I follow up with this category to firmly establish this blog isn't going to be about hip hop. Here are 3 female artists of varying degrees of notoriety.

Laura Stevenson and the Cans
Laura Stevenson is the keyboardist for a ska band known as Bomb the Music Industry... thankfully, they sound like the polar opposite of Bomb the Music Industry. Fun... that's how I'd describe this music.

St. Vincent
Of the 3 ladies in this post St Vincent rocks the most... in the conventional sense of the word. She can actually play the guitar pretty damn well and she's beautiful to boot.

Joanna Newsom
Joanna is an acquired taste. She's a harpist and her voice is high and on her earlier albums a bit nasally... people either love her or hate her. To me, her voice is the only I'd label angelic... but I've heard other people liken it to scratching a chalk board... so be warned. Fun fact... she goes out with Andy Samberg of SNL fame.
