It comes down to what are you doing now?
It's like Sjow's fallen off the face of the map. Not to mention, his ticks. If I'm a team manager my interest in him would be very low. He had a lot of bad ticks (not scouting, optimal use of hotkeys) but managed to find a way to be successful early on. Not so much right now. Odee decided to step away because Sjow wasn't producing in the now.

Could somebody link to that site with progamer's winnings? I am sure there was a pretty big sum for SjoW, was surprised when I saw.

He did make a grand exit defeating HerO and Zenio....
He is a good player, expect some team to pick him up soon.

Do you have any actual knowledge about Odee stepping away? Because from what he has said in person it was a case of wanting to extend but not being able to come to an agreement and that he was sad to see him go. I mean, that is very much open to interpretation, but I have not seen anything to prove that Odee did not want Sjow for whatever reason, thus I wonder whether such statements are mere conjecture?

Sjow is probably still in the top 5 of foreigner terrans. That's nothing to scoff at.

good luck Sjow and Dignitas

Aw that's a bummer. I'm not sure why, but I've always really liked Sjow. Best of luck to him!

First of all, I mainly wrote that to get a cheesy "sjow joke" in there and second he's been doing well recently as you would know if you actually followed his results. He's certainly not "fallen of the face of the map." You are deluding yourself if you don't think there are teams that happily would pick him up, it's more a matter of what his own goals are. And if Dignitas wants to get rid of players that are not producing in the now they should cut the majority of their team by that standard.

Kinda fail to pay that much for some1 who's not even top 5 foreign anymore, let alone overall.

Funny how people come in this thread not realising its quite old
Anyway, I can confirm that we did want to re-sign SjoW unfortunately that didn't happen as we were too far from eachother in the negotiations.
We will hopefully be able to announce a terran player that will replace SjoW in the lineup in a not so distant future.

Oh I knew it was old. Just thought perhaps that new information had come out. Thanks for the confirmation, was pretty sure nothing had changed from the initial statements made.

The terrans that have no teams and come to my mind are taeja, ganzi and artist
I heard select and odee were talking to ganzi on skype while he was streaming, so most probably him

i think foreigners are more marketable thats why. in general, people prefer to watch foreigners winning rather than koreans winning.

Sjow was such a good player, and to be with Select and others on Dignitas was great! Hope he finds a great team, or comes back, as Select was mentioning.

This is probably more deserving of its own thread, but since this one got bumped, Sjow announced on Twitter that he's rejoined Dignitas.
"Im happy to announce that im playing for dignitas again"
