Hello TL, this is the deal, im going to USA in 2 months to learn to speak it (know a bit of writing and google translate help), so got in touch with ELS so i have choose going to California, but i like this 3 options:
La verne
San Diego
San Francisco
So i would want some advice, cause i would like some e-sports contact/barcraft/LAN in my time here, what you guys think will be the best place to stay ? (Consider i will got low budget for this things)
Also, i got a degree in management from my country ( Venezuela ), so i would like some recommendations about having some related US-Education in this zones
Thank you!

SF is the best. they have barcrafts there, san jose (hour south) and berkeley (30 mins east). also, there are sc2 tourneys in berkeley, sf, san jose and davis (about one hour NE from SF). plus, sf is a very nice place to live as a foreigner. lots of options for food, easy transportation everywhere (dont need a car) and lots of different races so you are likely to find a group of Venezuelans if that is your pleasure (or stay away from them because it will hurt your studying).
La Verne is in the middle of nowhere.
San Diego is a nice place to live, but I have never heard of any barcraft or SC2 related things there.

I suggest San Francisco as I have family who lives there and it seems to be a very nice place to live. But it looks like San Diego has more BarCrafts. San Francisco is doing MLG Winter, at least.
For education you could try UC Berkeley.

I'd say SF is the best option overall. Southern California does have a large e-sports scene but it's more spread out (LA, OC, SD). You'll need a car to get mostly anywhere in San Diego itself. No to La Verne.
Transportation should be your biggest concern, and the Bay Area has a wide variety of accessible public transportation.

Ty guys, i slightly prefer SF also, but i wonder having All these barcraft in L.A would be "better" ? or is to hard to go without a CAR ?

if you're on a low budget, san francisco can be tough on living expenses. transportation can also be difficult and time consuming. its a great place to be but it may not be the best place to live, depending on your financial situation.

Nobody speaks spanish in San Francisco. You might find it very difficult to learn english there. I'm assuming u speak spanish. I'd suggest the San Jose area if you want to visit the middle/north part of California. It's also cheaper as is more likely to have a barcraft/meatups. San Francisco is also filled with tourists and very very busy.
