Ok, so I get a lot of WoW-based scam emails fairly regularly, but this has to be one of the best (yet)
First of all, it's written in a really awkward, small, weird-looking font, making it hard to read. I'll show the entire email (I'll leave out the name of the website for obvious reasons).
"To English-speaking players:
In March 27, 2012,World of Warcraft is trying to launch a New version of Game: The anger of Azeroth
New Maps, New Races, Funny Pets, More Skills and Endless Challenges!
Participating in our theme, you can probably get lucky prizes, including up to six day free game time.

There's so much hilariously wrong with this email, it astounds me. So, Blizzard apparently is releasing a brand new WoW expansion in a couple of weeks, without letting us know, and without telling us anything about it. Yeah, they just ditched that whole Mists of Pandaria thing, I guess.
is trying to launch a New version of the game Trying? As in, they could fail?
I never thought about that aspect of WoW, but who knows, maybe the whole game and all it's servers could crash horribly and result in the end of Blizzard as soon as "The anger of Azeroth" (very choice capitalization of words, there) launches in a couple of weeks.
New Maps Uh, are they talking about WC3 here or...?
you can probably get lucky prizes Well, probably.
For more amazing information, Indeed, regular information will not do. We must have amazing information!
There's plenty of other hilariously awful things about the email, but I'll leave it at that.
Lastly, I'm aware that this is almost certainly from a non-english speaking country, most likely China, and so I can't expect it to have perfect English, but when it's trying to scam me, well, I think I reserve the right to pass judgement.

Seems to be par for the course to me.

|

|

i want the new maps and probably really lucky prizes ;;
|
I got this email today as well, made me laugh.

Some of those scam emails almost got me.. I stopped playing my account for a long time and I kept getting emails saying that my account had been hacked and I needed to go to this scam website to authenticate my account..

"The Anger of Azeroth" LOL I am trying so hard not to burst out laughing at work right now.
The burning legion has tried to destroy us like 5 times now, and honestly were starting to get angry about it!
And the part about "probably" getting prizes is too funny. Next expansion: the Angst of Kalimdore. And after that The Hungriness of Khaz Modan. And we can't forget Lorderon With a Case of the Mondays.

Yeah, I'm starting to wonder if this was made by somebody (presumably in China, as they're still on TBC, I believe) who didn't know Mists of Pandaria was announced. I don't know how else they could of thought for a second that this would fool anyone.

anger of azeroth is just hilarious even though I don't like WoW only WC3
|
You can probably win some lucky prizes man. Sounds legit.
