I have lost motivation to play SC2.
Why?
B.net is retarded what comes to the social aspects of the game.
so i turn to the community for help. To keep myself motivated, i feel i need something else than just "find match". Some friends that i can share the sc2 experience and who are possibly in a similar situation.
Something about myself. I am gold noob with around 300 wins, EU server. I am close to 40 in age with a family and full time job. Long time gamer, but SC2 is my first RTS. I really like the game. I have friends but none of them are capable/enjoying playing SC2. I don't know why. I have tried. They just can't. So I'm alone now.
Here's what I miss. I would enjoy if some better player, like high gold/platinum, would help me learn more. I don't mean coach. I mean look at my replays, play against me, and give advice and talk about the game. I'd also like to help bronze players to get better. And I don't mean coach. I don't take the game seriously at all and I play badly. But I can share thoughts on the game. Or if you are silver/gold, we can play together. I have nobody to practice with. If you are a masters player, you can coach me if you like that. Just anything. If there are clans that take players like me, the better. One limitation is that I can't skype that much, because there are so many people living in my house. If you are close to my age, the better. But I dont mind if some 16yrs old newbie GM helps me with my builds.

If you have a NA account, or on the super off chance a CN account, I always like to practice with real people instead of randoms from the ladder system

Hey im a high plat zerg on EU you can add me if you like, i wont be on for the next few days but after that should be on regularly, im also looking for someone to just share ideas with etc.

I really don't think the new battle net is a good excuse for the lack of social skills, you already post here there is tons of information to use to get with people..

Just want to say good luck -- I'm in NA, but it can be hard to find grown ups to play with. I have two rl friends that play and I consider myself lucky.
Skype would really help you out though -- without talking, I find it harder to befriend people.

You know at least 1/3 of my friends list is people I met through ladder, maybe try talking more to the people you play on the ladder (if you still play ladder  )
I'm overling.585 on EU, currently in platinum but was diamond for entire season 4. I like to talk to people and I am pretty much online every day now. It's gonna change once I find 2nd job and get buisness with my friends get started but for now I have lots of time.
Where are you from aggu and what's your race?

@beetlelisk: I am from finland and I play protoss mostly = my terran and zerg is bronze level also, I have some friends form laddering but it's just different thing to make friends in an anonymous ladder environment full of all sorts of immature behavior when you are young and when you are older (that's my experience at least).
@RolleMcKnolle: i have checked the practice partner lists but did't find anything, but maybe I am reading them wrong, I will recheck.
