For once, fuck "balance" too. This is my indulgent whine thread.
Fuck mutas. Easy, auto win, build-30-and-sit-on-my-mineral-line bullshit units. Unless I have half my army sitting behind 80 trillion turrets at each base, I can kiss my production and my expansions goodbye. Want to kill my army? Just snipe my tanks and then 1a over the rest. You could camp my reinforcements too, killing off any hopes of getting what I need to kill an expansion. Or an army. Or a queen. Or even a fucking creep tumor.
Fuck that whining about marines and thor. Go where my army CANT MOVE and poof, the SCVs I had are gone. Or my supply depots. Or my desperate PDD. Or the turrets I had up to buy time to trade bases.
The next time Blizzard patches something, I want fucking marines with jetpacks. T2 tech. They will also do splash damage. Even if it comes with the caveat that every other Terran unit does 2 damage, I'll play TvZ will a great fat happy smile on my face, knowing that any Zerg player that tries to go mutas will be so horribly fisted by my Ultramarines (or Black Templar if they get swords), they will quit SC2. Forever. The way it should be.
God bless you Infestor players. You give the rest of us a chance.
once you get past being able to deal with mutas ..
you'll end up cursing out those infestor players that you're blessing right now :D
infestor broodlord a lot more annoying to put up with than mutas, imo anyway x)
but i feel your pain my fellow terran comrade!
LOL... I'd have players going muta than infestors anyday, sorry. All you need are two turrets, then add on more(3-5) depending on how many you see. Infestors just rape your entire army....
As people have said, once you vs zergs who use infestors half good, you'll have rage even more.
4-5 fungals and there goes like 40 marines.
well, at least you admit you're just whining so i can move on knowing that you don't actually believe what you're typing.
You do realize that if he ignores where your army is and tries to harass your base that you can pretty much just a-move yourself and do a metric fuck-ton of damage to him, right?
Oh wait - it's easier to just bitch and complain. Never mind.
LOL I love it when zergs go mass mutalisks. They're usually accompanied by lesser amount of ling/bane so marine/thor/tank is much stronger.
Lol, Soon you will be joining me in hating infestors and thanking god whenever I see zergies get mutas

Wow, you want marines to get buffed. Like they're not good enough already. Have you ever thought about leaving 10 marines and a medivac in your main along with the turrets you have?
Of the two T2 Evils that Zerg has, I would chose Infestors as the easier to deal with. Every game I've played against Infestors, I feel the need to expand hard, because there is no threat of mutalisks. Also, my opponents don't seem to have many banelings, So I cut hard into my tank production to get upgrades/medivacs/more Marines. Then I send My 3/3 Marines everywhere, Sniping hatches like its nobody's business. I have decent Marine splitting, and versus Infestors I feel like I make my opponent spend alot more energy to kill my Marines. Against Mutalisks, I automaticly feel like i must spam 4+ turrets at each mineral line, and more at my production facilities so my add-on's don't get sniped.
Get some thors if you're that afraid. Have a 1-2 thors and 3-4 turrets near your mineral line and you're golden.

No, no, no, no. I don't want them buffed. I want them ULTRA buffed. Terrible, terrible damage does not begin to described how much I want them buffed. When Blizzard is done buffing them they'll look like THIS.
And I've played some good infestor players. It is frustrating, but its something I can deal with, for the most part.

Thats exactly the way I really feel. I play drop heavy, so its more of a luxury to play vs infestor players than muta players. Theres also something psychologically scary about a literal cloud of mutas hovering over your army/base.

I too know your pain friend even as a toss, i swear as soon as i see a spire i am already tilting at the anger that will ensure.
I actually love it when zerg players mass up mutalisks as it means I won't have to deal with infestors, which are 100x worse
Muta's are pretty good. You should do an indulgent wine thread too. I like wine.

I want fucking marines with jetpacks.
Something like this? Don't need to wait for a patch. If it helps, as a zerg I rage pretty hard at marines as they are already.

What league are you in?? I dont know how you could prefer to face infestors over mutas. As others have said, throw down like 5 turrets and keep some marines around your mins or make a thor.
3/3 marines, that's all I'm saying. Honestly, Infestor/Brood lords will make you cry so much lol
