This was a valid point. You said we shouldn't have had two people in office at once. Cool. In the next post, you even defend your stance that we shouldn't have those two experienced players in office, by saying have someone questionable in office as Pardoner. Ok, so assuming we stick to this play on No pardoning, no exceptions, the only advantage either of the offices gives is immunity on night 1 from getting hit. This just helps us keep the vets alive, am i right?
Radfield seems the most organized and willing to work with town, even if I don't like his infrequent posting. I would also like Arc, as having two players is very nice to keep safe (as having double the chance for a slipup if he is scum) Than you 100% switch your stance to wanting both Arc and Radfield in office. Hmmmm, ok...I could see it, but you're calling *me* wishy-washy? Fine, fine.. If Zeks is scum he would have probably made up his mind right away who he wants in office. This makes him seem town as he is trying to feel out the candidates. Also, more have stepped up in this '12 hour' window you've talked about, so I can't blame anyone for changing their minds You stated if Zeks was scum, he would have voted right away who he wanted to vote for in office. It makes him seem town because he wants to try to feel out the candidates. I think that was exactly the same play I made early, trying to get a feeling for the mayoral candidates. According to that line, I should be pro-town. For the lynching scenario: 1. Lynch a lurker, guarantee losing a towny 2. Lynch someone active, either hit scum or lose an active towny.
So far i think only greymist has the only analysis that is actually backed by logic Spackle, your analysis on Dropbear is 100% theory, and I would not like to lynch based off that MrZentor's reasoning behind going for Zeks explains nothing either, what does 'having the hydra only helps town' mean?
This being said, I'd tentatively vote for Jistu. Worst case scenario, we lose a towny either way. But with the amount of active posters, i think it's worth the shot to try for hitting a red. but than you go ahead and say that the Anti-Jitsu analysis was backed by logic - logic that is counter-acting your own logic. Also, by my count, the following people (up to Comprissent's) to tentatively vote for me are GreyMist, Radfield, Nisani, and Comprissent, in that order. You also say that the lynching scenario is either Lynch a lurker, and guarantee losing a town (I don't see how you can guarantee to lose a town) or lynch an active player, with a chance of either way. How about we look at some post analysis instead of just picking out of a hat? Comprissent is pretty wavy in my eye. Like to see some thoughts from others.
From what i've gathered from vets/reading other games, lynching a lurker is a guaranteed town hit, which I don't want. Yes, I would like more analysis to go on. What i said was greymist is the only one to use logic in his analysis, that being said you're the only one with any analysis on (at the point of that post). I don't think you've been scummy, I am just trying to put my vote somewhere early to help move discussion.
I should also pay attention to the accusers in these scenarios, and others have agreed that MrZentor's analyses have made no sense and he does not seem to follow what is going on in this thread. He hasn't posted in several pages, so I want to see more from him.

Just for the record, I will be letting the other half of the hydra decide our lynch vote for today. I mean, I do want to get him hooked on TL mafia, and I feel like he needs to be more involved for that to happen. Expect some posts from him regarding his lynch target of choice ^_^

I'm glad you feel my analysis is backed by logic and all that, but why vote for someone who you don't think is scum? I unfortunately had to sleep so I have not reread in great detail, but at the moment I think zentor or Jitsu are our best bets

Trying to do my part for town: I have filtered Zeks, because he was one of the suspicious persons. What I found: He is active, and trying to contribute to town. Also he made statements that I agree on, so for now I think he is leaning towards town. Since I don't know if I get back online before the deadline, I'll vote for MrZentor, because he made that strange post that felt scummy to me and I don't have any other persons that I found obvious scum. Why I wouldn't vote for a lurker, is because the only other game I played, every lurker got modkilled, and they were all town. I don't want to lynch a lurker, because firstly, you probably lose a townplayer, and second you don't learn much from lynching that person.

/Harbinger I don't quite understand the motivation for this post. If you are town, shouldn't you care who gets lynched today? Wouldn't you just discuss the lynch with your team mate instead of apparently just letting him decide? Why are you announcing it beforehand? Isn't the point of playing hydra to decide big decissions together? Seems to me he can be involved in this manner as well.

I think its silly to lynch me. I'm trying my best to be active, sharing my reads and learning. You apparently think my read on prplhz is way off. I don't know if hes mafia or not, I just didn't think I'd get to say anything more until maybe right before elections at night so I wanted to pick one person. And for me, out of what I'd read and seen I was the most worried about him. I didn't get a really solid scum feel from anyone of the cases we've brought up so far. I came up with the great idea to go to my parents house to use their computer while I wait for mine, so thats why I'm even typing anything more now.

I thought it made sense when he said that. Hes just trying to get his friend more involved in this game, and letting us know before hand to explain why its only going to be his friend posting for a while. It doesn't mean he won't have a say in it, just that in the end he'll let his friend decide. Your really going after people now. Keep it going, I want a good scum read on someone. But I think this post made sense, even though I geuss I should just let him respond with this, maybe I'm wrong.

@Liquid`Sheth Why do you want to lynch me if you don't know if I'm mafia or not Do you still want to lynch me?
|
Also, I'm sharing my reads and being active am I not? You don't think you should be lynched because you are sharing your reads and being active but it's okay with me, even though you don't know if I'm mafia or not? This is somewhat off, wouldn't you agree?

Another one throws in a halfhearted vote on Zentor, let me fastforward and tell you where this ends this continues. Another handfull of people halfheartedly vote for Zentor. Zentor flips town. We don't have a clue who the real mafia is. We can't use the list people who voted for Zentor to find mafia because there won't be alot of mafia in there.
@Harbinger: I read: I might throw a stupid vote but it's because I let my newbie friend choose.

When you said it is "very important we get these two positions filled up by people who are 100% not mafia", it sounded to me like you would rather have two people who are confirmed townies in office than two proven scum hunters like Radfield and Arctocod, who would be null tells. This makes no sense to me, especially after you used your "imaginary tone" to confirm Radfield, on a post that Radfield himself said was a null tell. There is no "100%" on day1, and even if there was, I would never pick 100% townie who can't reliably read the game over a day1 null tell who has the potential to ravage entire scum teams. Problem?
I have argued that the people in office should be most accomplished scum hunters and I will be voting for them unless I get major scum vibes, and by major I mean major. This is also what just about everybody in this town thinks, so it is very likely the correct approach to elections.
Now you are straight up lying when you say that "[prplhz] thinks its better if Mafia gets one of those jobs". Dude, this is just bad. Only mafia has a reason to lie to discredit somebody, wouldn't you agree? Town would clear matters and minds up, but you just jump to conclusion and then you discredit me and try to get me lynched.
Ok. So I think were both thinking close to the same thing, but your still not thinking what I am prplhz. When I say Its "very important we get these two positions filled up by people who are 100% not mafia" and you say "I'd rather have two people who are proven scumhunters like radfield and Arctocod" I don't disagree with you. There is a pool of people who are good scum hunters apparently. Radfield + Arcto aren't the only two who have experience, and I simply want two who feel the most townlike to me. In this game, it seems like there both talking and acting like town, but theres no reason we shoudln't analyze all of the best scum hunters and find those who seem the most "townie" for the positions.
And as for me lieing to discredit you, it was just my read. I don't think we have any clear "Logic points to XXXX" reads yet, so you were just my pick. I wasn't actively saying to everyone lets get him! Just posting my reasons for why I was voting early and why I had chosen you. I think everyone who has voted and not said any reasons here for why there voting are a little suspicious. And when you say "Town would clear matters and minds up, but you jump to conclusions" thats somewhat a weird thing to say too. Right now the best thing to do as town is look for small things, and jump on them just to see what the other persons reaction is, that is HOW you clean things up. I never even jumped to a "conclusion" if you actually read closely what I posted I said "If you can change my mind I'll definetly change my vote, I'm just saying this now as I have to go. I'll be back to re-read this all over before actual Election time. "

If you have an issue with this, sorry, but that is how I will be playing this game. I'll certainly be answering any questions he has, but for the purposes of the lynch vote today (and quite possibly future votes as well), I will be acting in a coaching role rather than as a fully active player. Sure, I could involve him through discussions in person, but something tells me he'd basically just defer to whatever I decided since I have actually played before. Obviously I care who gets lynched, but I am also 0/2 on voting scum day one, so I figure he can't do any worse than I have in my previous games. As for announcing it beforehand, I just wanted to ensure maximum transparency in our actions.

So has the case on me been dropped? I just want to know if I should spend the time I have available right now defending myself or giving thoughs on wtf is going on right now.

@prplhz I didn't even read your post up here before posting that. Right now I'm not leaning on voting for you. Just when I thought I have to vote now because theres a chance I might not get to a computer in time you were my best pick. I still want more time to look through everyones posts and now at my parents computer I have time to do this. So your still on my radar, but I'm by no means blindly saying that I'm sure your mafia or even that its very likely your mafia. You were just saying things that didn't make 100% logical sense to me.

Mmk, let me get everything against me up now and I'll defend myself. This will mean I won't be able to really take about a lot of current events for now though (probs not until an hour and a half before lynch actually :/)

So first of all I'm confused on how a lynch on graymist would reveal info on me :/ You didn't really explain that at all risk.
So the evidence against me is that I'm only speaking fluff and because I FoSed Dropbear...
First of all @Dropbear, I FoSed you because of other people's evidence as well which I did put in that little compilation, I was just mentionning that one of our leading scumhunters had already mentionned you early in the thread, you know adding some info that may have been forgotten. Just because you've now voted for me doesn't mean I'm dropping my FoS on you BTW.
Next people(or Dropbear, as other people are saying some of my posts are sort of useful), are saying my posts are fluff. I disagree. My post was meant as a clarification on the things about Pardoner and Mayor so that we could move on. If you look in to the context and don't just filter, a lot of people were also worried about similar things at the same time (including you risk) and actually a lot of the info that I posted there was brought up as new info later on (wait mayor cant echnically vote 3 times!!!!) My talk about LaL was answering a question, where I was elaborating on my own thoughts (yeah you can lie if you're blue, but don't make petty lies like the one I had an example of). My talks about Pardoner aws actually something I wanted done, and people opposed to it, so now I've dropped it. Risk, you even brought up an idea for exceptions too. Which you then had a complete role reversal on as soon as people seem opposed to my ideas on a more specific idea (care to explain that one?) You then later stated that forbidding pardoning is stupid and should be used at that player's discretion (which is better than a current majority how?) Anyway, I'm getting off-topic:
Yo, I'm innocent.
