I find magic entertaining, even if it does seem somewhat limited.

The thing I do agree on is in the goddamn unkillables. I hate not being able to clear towns at will.

I agree with you.The magic system and level scaling is fucked up,and the lack of real impactant karma-ish decisions really makes for a bland linear experience.The ending is the most anti climatic thing and doesn't change a bit regarding what you've done before.It's so easy to become guildmaster/archmage of everything,it's quite silly(also "Unkillable" characters suck).

Illusion is so pointless to max and Alteration is so limited it isnt fun,you're better off using heavy armor than using that IronFlesh with 3/3 Magic Armor.

In Oblivion when you became the Arch mage,it really felt like you had accomplished something,since you had to get the approval of all the guilds and etc...but in TESV you just do like 3 dungeons in a row and voi'la,you're the guildmaster lol.

Quite frankly, games like Skyrim rely on the graphics to make you dive into the story. But bugs and lack of possibilities just kill the experience IMO. What's the point of shiny graphics if your character can walk up to a mountain in such an ugly, buggy way? If you run into invisible walls?

Pretty much this...every time an RPG comes out that people rave about, I think about BG2 and how infinitely better it is.

I understand the idiotic AI part. I was in Labyrinthian all ready for a super awesome hard boss fight. First time he demolished me. (Just so you, to start the fight you have to kill to spirit guys keeping the boss down.) I killed the last guy high up while sneaking and the boss was set free and never found me. He jut kinda walked back and forth against the edge of the wall and I picked him off with ease. :/

first of all i agree with a lot of what your saying, ex. the towns should be a lot more complex,and sneak is way to overpowered, but also there are a lot of fun things you can do if your creative, i , for example just stopped playing for a few months cause really, what do you do after you finish the main quests, and there are only so many dungeons you can go in before you hate it, but then i made my illusionist, wich is by far my favorite character, i know illusion isnt to good by itself, and neither is conjuration, or alteration, but if you mix them together its amazing,

first off that's a threat up there team liquid but anyways i was always mad that no matter what you do no one cares i finished the main quest and walked up to a guard and he said let me guess someone stole your sweet roll then a million rude remarks later he said only once something like thank you dragonborn and then went back to his rude remarks
