I started SC2 this summer, focused mainly on the single player game for a while and dabbled in the
practice league once in a blue moon. But, I'm competitive, I had fun, sometimes, but wasn't happy with my performances in the practice league, so I decided to do some research.
I ended up viewing this thread on GameFaqs and started watching/reading Day[9]'s Newbie Tuesday episodes while I work.
I got a few episodes in and decided to give the real thing a try. I decided I should random, so I know all the races thoroughly. I want to know my enemy. So I skipped out of the practice league and started playing, where I promptly went 0-5 in my placement matches and 1-4 in my first 5 games. And the 1 win was someone who quit before building anything. A whopping 10% win rate, namely, I suck.
However, I decided, that I refuse to suck forever. I'm studying any information I can and playing as much as time permits. I'm also <3 stats, so I have started running my own numbers on how I've been doing.

I'm up to a win percentage of 46.25% after 80 matches. (Including placement matches.)

However, no matter how far I go, how good I get, I want to play like I am forever dipped in Bronze. I want to approach it like I'm still 1-9 with so much to learn and ready to get better.
I'd love to make some friends to learn from, practice with, and hell just have fun with. GL and HF folks.
