It's just a plastic bag. Do you have any idea how complicated our digestive system is?

It's not like a government to not tax something. I mean, all lotto money etc. in Western countries is taxed. Lotto is tax free in Australia mate, and most other countries I think Damn lucky. State owned lottery is like 50 percent in America. Yeah thats right they take half of it back.

I seemed to have missed it http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=279509 Thanks, now to find the time to read all that You don't need to. Basically the site started a "showmatch" between Day9 and Tasteless and asked for donations (which apparently are just pledged) to make it happen. None of these guys knew about this and it just causes unnecessary shit like hype and tweeting to all the "participants" and what not. And not to mention if ti would happen, where the money would go and all that.

Anyone can create a fantasy matchup, and then people pledge donations (but don't actually give any money except if/when the match is played). Regardless it's leading to a lot of idiots tweeting at them even though they are far too busy as tasteless just mentioned. I think that's the point. It's a way for the community to entice/pressure people into playing showmatches for charity. I don't really think it's the best idea, but these things people are pointing to as missteps are actually there by design. You don't need to. None of these guys knew about this and it just causes unnecessary shit like hype and tweeting to all the "participants" and what not. That's not really true. People can create any matchups they want, and then everyone pledges on the matchups they would most like to see. You could technically make a Hot_Bid vs MVP matchup and maybe it will happen if people pledge tens of thousands. The Plott vs Plott matchup was simply the most popular one. Anyway, this is getting off topic, there's a game going on!

He understands, he said he doesn't want to be in a position where he has to say no. When people pledge a lot of money, they get their hopes up, dreams will be crushed. Well yes, but the entire point of the site is to entice people to play showmatches if they think the charitable amount is high enough. It wouldn't make sense to "ask first". It wouldn't make sense to gather hundreds of dollars and then harass the shit out of the players to play a match they never agree'd to, but it definitely happens. I think asking first would be less fun, and the player might be accused of being greedy for stating a number, but it would probably be more effective.
