Milkis posted a highly unpopular opinion on reddit (the website known for people acting like juveniles) and received rude comments in response (surprise surprise). He got emotional and responded by taking the most dramatic actions he could think of? Quitting all the work he has done, and attempting to guilt tripping the entire community. Maybe i'm missing something, but I don't know why someone who act's like this would be entitled to an apology.

However I can symphatise with you a bit Milkis, cause I personally also write controversial things every now and then, and sometimes I realise that people actually more react on how I write something then rather what I write. Like when I wrote 6-7 posts about that the Korean domination where detremental for the development of the SC2 scene, which was a lot more controversial then I realised. Might very well have been the case here to. Anyway, internet is sometimes a really harsh place, dont let it get to you to much. Keep translating if you like it and maybe next time think about if the potential "loss" of posting controversial topic is really worth the potential gain. If I where famous I think I would do that.

I know it's hard to stomach ridicule, but all you'll be doing by leaving the scene is letting the haters win! This is going to set a precedent that if a small, vocal minority of the community has a problem with someone who's really trying to help, then all they have to do is ridicule until that person leaves... Edit: sorry Chill, I've just always wanted to say that

But I've spent thinking about it over the night Oh you spent one night thinking over it? But does all this mean that any of you have the right to call me retarded? an idiot? Are these the biggest insults you could find? Apparently, suddenly, I'm a terrible translator. Everything is a fluke. There are suddenly no place in eSports for people like me. One maybe two people posted this and you're taking it to heart?I never wanted to do live translation to begin with. "You guys don't know how lucky you are to have me!"Call me "nervous" whenever I go on stage but it's more exhaustion than anything else considering I'm terrible at taking care of myself at MLGs because I always run around so much and I have trouble putting myself before other things that need to be done. From your MLG blog "I was overwhelmed by nervousness"It's kind of shitty when people start criticizing you over shit like this. "OH HES SUCH A BAD TRANSLATOR HE IS ALWAYS SO NERVOUS". Or someone to say "My KR friend says X" or "X is better". Right. "This other guy I know translates better"... This is the type of criticism that pushes you over the edge into ragequit dramaqueen mode? Send me a PM I might be able to refer you to some help. You want to know why I bothered doing anything for the community? Because I always thought the community deserved more. I never wanted to be popular nor did I want attention (although I guess I did enjoy it, but it's not something I ever wanted). It's the last thing I wanted. All I wanted to do was bring you guys good content, and I always just wanted the means to do so. I wanted to do a lot of nice things for the community because I was capable of doing it and seeing you guys appreciate the content was always good enough. Why else would I take on any of these extra works, or brainstorm a ton of new things I could do for the community? Now this is a beautiful paragraph. This is the attribute people love about you, milkis. You translating twitter posts, organizing pro-gamer funds, it's great to remind us about your past deeds in a goodbye posts....but wait....Sadly, none of these will come to fruition anymore Turns out that whole paragraph was just to set us up "See what you guys have lost! See what you guys have brought onto yourselves!"I've never been so absolutely demotivated in my life. Again, PM me when you get the chance.

You haven't even had the half of the crap which kellymilkies, totalbiscuit and incontrol have had to handle. Even when you've been critizised, there have always been many kind words. Now it seems that you're just trying to seek more attention and sympathy. Althought I don't know you or really care that much, it looks to me like you're under a lot of stress at the moment. Before making such a big decision as taking up translating in front of a big audience, or leaving the community alltogether, either take some time off, or think it thoroughly. If you leave now and say goodbye forever, you will definitely regret it at somepoint, I'm sure of it. I hope that I make some sense.
