so i was considering the state of my early-20s lifestyle, social life, and career goals, and after a series of unfortunate mental subject jumps i ended up trying to remember the name of this map i used to dick around on. here's a shitty diagram:

map features:
- a big pit of acid in middle with ramps leading up to it on both sides
- Ts and CTs spawning across the map from each other, with no buying allowed. maybe nades and armor, but not sure.
- many different kinds of cars, some with ladders on them. i remember (perhaps erroneously) that there were ladders at each spawn on the map, both which climb up to...
- tightrope suspended over vat of acid. directly over the vat of acid was a button (now that i think about it, actually 2 buttons): one which dropped you into the vat, and the other that called a speeding cart that came out of the wall and took you to the...
- secret room in the wall with lots of guns
i had the biggest LOLs of my noob teenage life on this map, before i became a jaded, cynical, and illustrious moderator of esports. people would die hilariously trying to get to the secret room, and once you had a gun you just shot all these unarmed people while they tried to run you over with cars. you keep your gun the next round too, while everyone spawns with nothing and can't buy.

woohoo_cars? It doesn't have the pit of acid but it does have the other stuff you talked about minus maybe the secret gun room that I never found lol.

looks fun, the only map of that kind I played was jeepathon_2k or something.

LOLOL I remember playing zombie mod with this map!
Only it was a Chinese server, and the map name was changed to something like PCgames115dao or whatever.

these fun maps were nice but then people went one step further and made tons of retarded mods. Soon enough every pub servers were running them. It doesnt help that steam search was total garbage. If you didnt know the IP you could never find a decent server.
I was a total pubstar in a couple texas servers during my college days lol.

It's a disease that somehow always manages to spread everywhere. I was a then big CoD2'er, and it always took me 10 full freaking minutes to download all these useless sounds and graphics and jargon and what not.
