So anyways, I am writing this down hopefully as fast as I can, while I still remember all the details of my dream.
So anyways last night I had a dream. A dream which involved the new OP for Code Geass, Season 3 (yep). In it, apparently Charles is back, surrounded by his vanguards that are big, tall people entirely suited in iron armor (think Ed Elric from FMA, and Garland from Dissidia). Lelouch, on the other hand, was Zero again; however he also found allies - little kids - who also dressed like Zero (much shorter than him, of course). In one particular scene, one kid apparently stole something important to Emperor Charles, carried it to another group of kids who swiftly put it into a kid's squirt gun and disguised it,ensuring the success of the mission.
Anyways, now I am awake and thinking about this dream. Then I realized that last night I just watched Guilty Crown - the set up in that anime is almost identical to Code Geass:
1. Japan being oppressed by Western countries: check 2. Oppressers are ruthless and kill cilivians without good reasons at all: check 3. There is a resistance group which the protagonist will (probably) join: check 4. A mysterious girl gives the protagonist power out of nowhere: check
The only differences are:
1. Suu is kind of a coward and had no idea what he was doing (sort of); Lelouch knew exactly what he wanted to do; 2. Code Geass's initial is CG, Guilty Crown's initial is GC - same two letters, but different order.
The last one made me "shit bricks".

Haha, people were talking about this in the anime discussion thread and on IRC.

You're late to the party. The CG GC thing was figured out a long time ago. I would know. I got laughed at when I said MIND BLOWN after posting it on IRC.
Also, I like Shu. He's better than Lelouch. I thought Lelouch was kind of a big dick who wanted attention but didn't get it so he decided to kill people and justified it for no good reason.

lol, considering how Geass R2 went, your dream really isn't that far-fetched as how a 3rd season would go.
surrounded by his vanguards that are big, tall people entirely suited in iron armor (think Ed Elric from FMA... Wait, what?

lol they're both called the power of kings too

I guess I'll watch that anime. I liked Code Geass despite the ending to season 1 and start to season 2 being a bit ridiculous for me.
Hopefully Guilty Crown is good as well.

So in regards to the end of Code Geass, what do you think about
+ Show Spoiler +Lelouch being alive at the end? There's a lot of different pieces to the theory but the one that I always thought most striking, even if not necessarily even proof, is that the name of the series is "Code Geass", alluding that Lelouch gains the geass and the code, making him immortal.

Definitely possible considering CC isn't insane enough to talk to her self at the very end of the anime (oh wait a second, why does that sound so familiar...). + Show Spoiler +But I like it better if he's dead since it would be the "ultimate sacrifice" and would ensure that there is no direct sequel which would mess up the series even more.

Wait, they're making a new season? I loved that show, its one of two animes I've watched

Honestly I would've thought that kurrigui would get the code over lelouch, as lelouch doesn't need to do anything anymore, but kurrigui has to protect the world and stop it from ever falling back into its original state. + the idea of an immortal knight for justice is pretty cool Anyway, any news on the third season? I googled it awhile back and the infomation I got was sketchy

New season info: Side story based in Europe during the Black Rebellion (or, some where during Season 1 or R2) Small Japanese unit sent to rescue soldiers trapped behind enemy lines on the European Universe Front Main Characters are a white girl and some Japanese katana-wielding boy Speculation that it'll come out in Winter '11 Season since they are going to start selling CG stuff in December CLAMP is back to design characters, same people are also designing Knightmare Frames

"Season 3" isn't really as much of a continuation of the first 2 seasons, as its supposed to be a side story set in Europe during the time Code Geass takes place. Lulouch's story is over.

I actually hadn't heard of the new season. Just based on the description I'm not sure how excited I am about it. Of course CLAMP pretty much always delivers, but Code Geass without Lelouch doesn't really make sense to me.

Forgot about that. As for the new season. I really dont know. I acturally enjoyed the episodes where there was less lelouch/where he wasn't up against a massive army, or where he wasn't just completely owning it up.
