But nope! Followed part of that action report, found the Aztec/Mayans/Zapotec were all weak from war and my 5 stack could get a foothold. Creek were too powerful at the time. Eventually took over the whole peninsula and found the wonders of changing my national focus to troubled areas. I was well on my way in taking out Creek when suddenly Hungary decided to declare war on me, followed by most of Europe .

I've got on historical leaders, which I thought meant that I'd go through the history of French monarchs, but nope.. All of a sudden I noticed a fucking Francois von Welf as my first heir. I remembered my first heir dying in an event, but what the.. The weird part is that he has a 'strong claim', so I don't know how it could be a foreigner or a noble as they usually have weak claims O.O Has anyone experienced something similar, and does anyone know what the flying duck a Von Welf is? Didn't find the godless tribe on google either... Also I got a second question for all the wise people out there. Will my country tag change from France to Revolutionary France, and will I get a new flag if I let the revolutionary rebels win in the 1700s? I know that's what happens if you jump in just before, but I once tried a console command to change France into a Revolutionary Republic, and I got the event and all the slider changes, but not a new flag qq Thank you in advance. Love you all ♥

Love you all ♥ lol france historical leaders is BAD, means you can't hire generals, shits stupid no idea who that guy is, most likely one of your royal marriages, so it could still be a foreigner (ex: your sister marries some german guy, kid takes on german guy's surname) as for france, here's the code for the event: country_event = { id = 6606 trigger = { tag = FRA not = { exists = RFR} has_country_flag = revolution government_tech = 53 revolution_target_exists = no capital_scope = { continent = europe } num_of_cities = 10 } mean_time_to_happen = { months = 24 modifier = { factor = 0.9 has_country_flag = religious_revolution } modifier = { factor = 0.9 has_country_flag = serfdom } modifier = { factor = 0.9 has_country_flag = social_reform } modifier = { factor = 0.9 has_country_flag = royal_bureaucracy } modifier = { factor = 0.9 has_country_flag = deplorable_reign } modifier = { factor = 0.9 has_country_flag = road_to_bankruptcy } modifier = { factor = 0.9 has_country_flag = financial_crisis } } title = "EVTNAME6606" desc = "EVTDESC6606" option = { name = "EVTOPTA6606" serfdom_freesubjects = 10 quality_quantity = -10 land_naval = -10 offensive_defensive = -10 mercantilism_freetrade = -10 innovative_narrowminded = -10 centralization_decentralization = -10 aristocracy_plutocracy = 10 clr_country_flag = revolution clr_country_flag = religious_revolution clr_country_flag = serfdom clr_country_flag = social_reform clr_country_flag = royal_bureaucracy clr_country_flag = deplorable_reign clr_country_flag = road_to_bankruptcy clr_country_flag = financial_crisis stability = 6 government = revolutionary_republic change_tag = RFR set_revolution_target = RFR random_country = { limit = { tag = RFR } country_event = 6608 } } } basically, in order to get the country change, you need to go through the whole process. Simply changing your government won't do anything except pop up any events that are dependent on the government type being a revolutionary republic. Most likely you just got a generic revolution event which does not give you any flag change.

The thing I was the most surprised about was it was super early, and I've played this game a lot and never seen a Welf. Where the fuck did he come from? lol. Pretty sure no country starts out with that Historical leaders make things harder ^_^ I have to work for every piece of land, especially as I'm the only protestant in Europe apart from Sweden lmao. It's on very hard, and Spain, GB and Austria are allied O.O Also dude.. Napoleon. I'm gonna do it history style! Napoleon is easely the coolest dude in this campaign. Am I actually supposed to type in that whole wall of text, or are atleast the modifiers either / or? I wonder if that's even possible to type in

Whats the best way to fuck them up? if you are outside the hre, you need to be either careful to start wars when the emperor is busy, or be big enough to beat him you the provincial decision to remove a province you capture from the HRE as the bonus's applied to the emperor are based on the size of the HRE

Basically what I'm getting at is a way of artificially making a French revolution before 1789 as that's basically where the game ends. I want to go revolution 100-150 years earlier if possible. I guess the government tech requirement is the only real bottleneck to making it possible. I just wanna do it for fun. Basically do the French conquest, but have a little more time, as those 50 years I have pass on pretty quickly. An alternative would be if anyone know of a mod that would increase the game time? I've tried looking for it, but havn't really found anything for DW. God I hate 1820. Edit: What did you mean by 'revolution outside the country'.. That doesn't make any bit of sence to me >.O

The country didn't change to revolutionary France though.

Then you expand your influence on every state you possibly can until you've got 30 or so. I got spammed by everyone and their mother about opening my market, and lot's of countries I hadn't even discovered yet (Ming among them) wanted alliances. Your relations will get to 100 really quickly with everyone, unless you have alot of infamy ofcourse. You can form alliances with countries you have -200 relations to, and it's super easy to vassilize countries at or smaller than 4 provinces. It's probably a legit strategy tbh. Get the three holy places and a prestige advisor, expand influence on everyone, and then start vassilizing HRE electors and members. This is ofcourse assuming you have a decently large country to begin with.

I am pretty sure that it is impossible to get a monarch with more than 4 in any stat. And if you get a good heir, he will ALWAYS go hunting or get sick. Or your current ruler will live to be 110. Bad rulers are immortal. They are also apparently capable of swimming over the atlantic.
