Sooo today the biggest shit and confusion happened. I had an oral exam scheduled for 14:00. i leave the house at 13:something and head over to the bus stop. just as the bus arrives, the window install manager calls me. These window guys visited our house 5 times by now, and they ALWAYS managed to forget something and have to come back over and over again. I haven't been able to set up a meeting with the guy for over two weeks because our schedules just never lined up. Anyways, he asks if i'm home tomorrow, and i would have been, so i said yes.

so, half about an hour later, i show up at the profs office about 10 minutes earlier. It was a little weird there was no light, but meh whatever, maybe he's coming there just like me only for the exam right? Well, in preparation i set my phone to plane mode and disabled sound.

5 minutes later, his assistant comes out of the next room, asking me if i wanted to see the the prof. I said "yeah in a few minutes", and he said "weeell he doesn't have time. he send you a mail two minutes ago." FUCKING GREAT! well, disabled plane mode, instantly received said email. hurray. how great, went to univ for nothing. ~45 min one way total. In the mail he asks "what about tomorrow?" great.

so just to get this one of my chest: his lecture, about which the exam is supposed to be is the most stupid lecture ever. i was so disappointed by this lecture that, after i took it last year, i procrastinated setting up a date for the exam for so long that i got a failed try. rofl. So now, that being my second-last exam ever (fuck yeah!), i just want to get this over with. And i want to do it now.

Hence, i call the window guy and cancel tomorrows appointment. fail once more (rescheduled to friday by now, at least that should hold..). After that i send my prof a couple of mails and we make reschedule for tomorrow around noon. at least something.

so, to break up this wall of text, here's a nice graph of the grade distribution of the physics exam i wrote last week (1.0 is best, 4.7 is worst, 5.0 (written there as NB) means failed and must take exam again):

as you can see, a third of all students failed the exam. rofl. but that was to be expected, the lecture was quite .. horrible as well. But whatever, scored a 1.7 so i'm happy enough with that. maybe i'll check out what i did wrong, thats possible some time friday, dunno if i'm motivated enough, but i thought i would have done better than 2.3 in the actual exam (there's a two grade steps bonus, making for instance 2.3 -> 2.0 -> 1.7, which is btw. already included in the diagram rofl^^)

so anyhow, i check out a small presentation which was held for this years newly enrolled CS students, then proceed to buy a new jacket as it's getting quite cold now and i didn't have one for the last 4 months lol ^^ afterwards i headed home.

and guess what happens. to clarify: my brother, who has moved to Munich with his gf, is here for a few weeks, he'll be leaving end of this week or something. So he and my sis decided to pay our grandma a visit. So, obviously they decided on doing this tomorrow, and they ask if i want to come. I haven't seen my grandma in ages cause there's always some university stuff in the way, and it's the same all over again. great -.-

so i spent the rest of the day doing .. well .. nothing really. i'm so frustrated at said lecture that i can't get me motivated to really read a single page of the materials. Instead of getting prepared a little better, i just catch up on tv series, totalbiscuit videos and watch some streams. doh. let's see how that exam tomorrow turns out.. i know i'm going to be frustrated for half a week if it goes bad, but i just can't be bothered. sucks. :/
