Day 5 With 3 alive, it is votes to lynch GGQ(3) - sandroba, Mig, Anonymous GGQ, Cereal Killer has been lynched! + Show Spoiler + Cereal Killer: One man army. You've got infinte bullets and are Deathproof at night. You also show up as an Innocent, Vanilla Towny to everyone else. Kill them all. That is the only way to win. In a surprising twist you actually carry a spoon to eat your morning cereal. Good luck! sandroba, Vanilla Towny has been endgamed! Game Over - Mafia Wins! + Show Spoiler [Roles] + Parity Cop: You are a new kind of Cop in Town. Unlike normal detectives, you associate your findings with what you already know. Starting Night 1, you can investigate anyone and you will get a null tell. Every investigation from then on will give you a "Same" or "Different" result, comparing the alignments to the previous player. You can not investigate yourself. You win when all threats to the Town are eliminated. Good luck! Paranoid Gun Owner: It's been ages since you've trusted anyone. You dont even like going out during the day to mingle with the other Townspeople unless you have to. You also keep a sawed off shotgun under your pillow. If you are visited at night you will shoot anyone who opens your door, including Town aligned roles. You win when all threats to the Town are eliminated. Good luck! Jail Keeper: Locking people up and bending them over makes your day, and at times even your nights. During these hours after dark you can lock anyone up in a cell, thereby protecting them from the harsh world outside. Doing this though, you also prevent them from carrying out their business. In other words you protect & roleblock your target that night AND the following Day phase. Due to some silly shit called "laws" you cant lock the same person up 2 nights in a row. You also can't lock yourself up. Due to some alien physics you can't roleblock the Mafia kill though. You win when all threats to the Town are eliminated. Good luck! Russian Vigilante: You can shoot starting Night 1 and you start with 1 bullet in the chamber. If the target survives the hit nothing happens and you can try again the next night. However, kill a Town aligned player and you will load an extra bullet in the chamber and play Russian Roullete with yourself. If you survive you will lose you Vigilante powers but still appear as a Russian Vigilante. Give me 4 names on a list, and one of them will randomly pick up the Gun and do what you just did, except there will be 2 bullets in the chamber if they fail, 3 for the next...up to 6. If Mafia gets the gun it will act as an extra 1 shot night kill without them having to play Roulette. Upon someone successfully killing themself or Mafia using it the gun stops being passed around. No one except you knows exactly how the gun behaves. To them it just appears as a gun lying around. You are compulsive and so is anyone who touches the gun. You win when all threats to the Town are eliminated. Good luck! Double Voter: You are a Towny with an extra vote. If you use your second vote, then your name will appear twice on voting lists. You can switch around either vote as much as you please until deadline or majority hits. You win when all threats to the Town are eliminated. Good luck! Vanilla Towny: Plain as day. You get to vote though. You win when all threats to the Town are eliminated. Good luck! Day Vigilante: You like taking the law into your own hands. For the side of evil! You are a Scum aligned Day Vigi and you have 2 shots. You can shoot 1 bullet per day. Your allies are Palmar, Mig, and chaos13. You win when you control majority of the voting power in the Town or when nothing can stop you from outright killing everyone. As a team you have 1 KP per night - good luck. Lawyer: You can make anyone appear innocent. Being that you are Mafia aligned this usually means your allies. You can also frame someone by giving the Cops a cocaine induced urine sample. Your allies are BayonnetAnderson, Mig, and Palmar. You win when you control majority of the voting power in the Town or when nothing can stop you from outright killing everyone. As a team you have 1 KP per night - good luck. Double Voter: Rigged elections are your thing. You vote like a normal Towny, but also have the option of filing a secret vote. You can PM me your secret vote. It will show up as Anonymous on the voting list. You can change the vote as many times as you like until the deadline or majority is hit. Your allies are BayonetteAnderson, chaos13, and Palmar. You win when you control majority of the voting power in the Town or when nothing can stop you from outright killing everyone. As a team you have 1 KP per night - good luck. Goon: You are just a normal evil doer. Still, thats good enough. Your allies are chaos13, BayonetteAnderson and Mig.You win when you control majority of the voting power in the Town or when nothing can stop you from outright killing everyone. As a team you have 1 KP per night - good luck. Cereal Killer: One man army. You've got infinte bullets and are Deathproof at night. You also show up as an Innocent, Vanilla Towny to everyone else. Kill them all. That is the only way to win. In a surprising twist you actually carry a spoon to eat your morning cereal. Good luck! + Show Spoiler [Day & Night Actions] + Day 1: TheAwesomeAll is lynched Night 1: Jackal58 checks Palmar (returns Null) - appears innocent chaos13 makes Palmar appear Innocent GGQ shoots JeeJee BayonetteAnderson shoots Zona Zona Shoots Bumatlarge wherebugsgo jails Zona Day 2: BayonetteAnderson shoots iGrok sinani206 is lynched Night 2: GGQ shoots wherebugsgo wherebugsgo jails BayonetteAnderson Jackal checks wherebugsgo chaos13 lawyers Palmar Zona shoots BayonetteAnderson BayonetteAnderson shoots Curu Day 3: bumatlarge is lynched Night 3: chaos13 shoots Zona Zona shoots BA GGQ shoots chaos13 Jackal checks xtfftc Day 4: Palmar is lynched Night 4: Jackal checks Mig GGQ shoots Jackal Mig shoots xttftc Day 5: sandroba votes for GGQ Mig votes for GGQ (2x) Mafia wins! NOTE - VERY LONG READ! + Show Spoiler [Analysis + Misc Info] + Scum mistakes: BayonetteAnderson shooting iGrok early on Day 2. Should have been an instant lynch by the Town. Mig/Palmar trying to bus each other (somehow kinda worked anyway). If town wasn't collectively stupid they'd have been dead Day 1 and Night 1. Zona pointed it out but no one read the post. With all that was going on Day 1, Palmar/Mig continously trying to attack each other was pretty much a GG on Day 1 for the Scum team. There is no reason to ever bus your scum buddy unless he/she slipped up and you are sure the Town will catch it. Or you believe the Town is stupid. Works out anyway. wherebugsgo outted himself as a protective role. Scum didn't pick up on it though. They shot Zona, and only they know they have 1 KP. They also know an SK obviously shot JeeJee or some killing role got him. wherebugsgo comments on "missing KP" and tries to use the excuse about there always being 2 Scum KP which is flat out untrue. By the end of Day 2 the Scum should know 3 Town PRs and shoot wherebugsgo Night 2. Town mistakes: wherebugsgo asking about Night KP when he KNOWS what happened. Town had every incentive to lynch him for slipping up thinking he's Scum. bumatlarge not claiming. At all. He isn't even playing well enough to draw a Scum KP. Zona claimed vigi and will likely shoot him. bumatlarge obviously doesn't think Zona is Scum because he isn't pushing him. He should realize that getting shot is likely and that he will kill the Town PR. He should also seriously see drawing an investigation role is quite high at this point. Chances are Mafia avoid him and Town PRs dont. If there is ever a time to claim it is NOW!. various townies giving out all their scum/town reads. People are stupid and want to be manipulated by Scum. So be it. sinani and sandroba are useless. whatever. GGQ: No mistakes yet, but on Night 2 he has to shoot Scum or risk being in a 4 scum vs him vs 6 town scenario the next day (best case scenario). Not ideal, even without him knowing about the existence of a Scum double voter. Going into Night 2 this is what should be known: Scum know there is another KP out there. Can't be sure it's an SK but possible. Should realize wherebugsgo outted himself as medic. Zona is a vigi and if not doesn't matter anyway - worth shooting AGAIN tonight. Town: they are fucked GGQ: wherebugsgo is medic of some sort and should be shot only if he isn't sure of who is Scum at the moment. He is a priority over everyone else. Letting Zona live if he believes the claim is in his best interest. If he does not shoot Scum then he has to get a Scum lynched in the day tomorrow. Failing to do so will make it a damn hard scenario to win from. Not hitting Scum on the 3rd night is going to be a certain loss for him now if no Town KP or Jackal catches Scum. At Best, and this is assuming Scum KP failed again Night 3 - next day would be 4 scum vs him vs 5 Town. If he hasn't realized BayonneteAnderson is Scum for his shot on iGrok Day 2 then he was boned before he even got to this point. ----This ananlysis is based on the game up to and including the Day 2 lynch of sinani206 ----leading into Day 3 wherebugsgo makes a crucial mistake by protecting the one player he shouldn't be protecting. His reads were all over the place this game so he is of course way off. Since he didn't pay any attention to iGrok dying he's going to end up fucking Zona over. With 2 KP going through tonight, the Zona = SK wagon might pick up. Stupid if it works, but the Town is in this position for a reason. bumatlarge hasn't claimed yet. The Mafia has no reason to shoot him, and he was almost shot by GGQ this past night. At this point, he can no longer claim because the Mafia will just shoot someone else and win. He completely nerfed his own role so now it comes down to luck. He can not claim period. He just has to step up and start leading some lynches on Scum. The Scum team isn't on thin ice but they aren't completely safe either. Palmar and BayonnetteAnderson are obvious lynches, and if Palmar goes down someone might go back and look at the game when he and Mig "argued". Either way the 2 Townies, for better or worse, that talked a lot besides Zona will die tonight. So they only have Zona in their way and a bunch of sheep. Technically GGQ is in their way but since he shot a Town player and either missed the obvious kill on BayonnetteAnderson (who would have died by 2 bullets at once) it would take something catastrophic happening to the Mafia during the day. If Zona gets lynched and they figure out GGQ is the SK then he loses next day as the Scum team just stomps him with votes or a Day Vigi bullet to the face. ---------- Day 3: Palmar claims Alignment Cop and that he checked bumatlarge. If bum doesn't realize that Palmar has to be lying all hope is lost. Jackal so far made a mistake assessing the framing situation. He's putting the conclusion before the premise and working backwards instead of forwards. If WBG was framed: Jackal checked Palmar Night 1 (null) Jackal checked WBG Night 2 (framed, flips innocent, means he was "Mafia" for the purpose of the check) That means that when Jackal got a "Same" result - Palmar was Scum Night 1 when Jackal checked him. Amazingly Palmar's fake claim, even without bumatlarge being around might end up getting him killed. This path would show Palmar lying about a DT check. For Jackal to have to believe Palmar's check, assuming Palmar is innocent: Palmar got a guilty result on WBG Jackal gets a "Same" result Palmar is an Insane DT that got Innocent on bum on Night 1 -> Day 2. Palmar DID claim that he knows bum is innocent several times on Day 2. Unfortunately sandroba's case is going to be drowned out because was useless for the beginning of the game. So his credibility is shit. If I was Jackal I probably wouldn't believe him either. But Palmar has been throwing around so many accusations I'd lynch him in a second. Once bumatlarge shows up Palmar will die. bum knows Palmar could never have visited him. With the information that Zona was protected Night 1, and BayonetteAnderson protected Night 2 then bumatlarge has to realize there's no way Palmar would have survived a shooting. Add in that Palmar never claimed to be shot and this is an easy lynch for the Town. The fake DT claim also doesn't hold up well if it's revealed that Mafia KP is 1. No Scum roleblocker, but 2 DT type roles and low Scum KP? The Scum would need some really good roles to counteract that. The Town doesn't know about the Scum double voter so from their P.O.V. of known information - this isn't a likely role list. sandroba is sort of not being useless at the moment. If GGQ doesn't realize it's time to get rid of Palmar and BayonetteAnderson now then I dont know what else to say. bumatlarge's lack of activity when coupled with his PGO role might come back to haunt the Town. If I was Scum I'd argue that bum's claim is false. No PGO role would play like he has - at the very LEAST he would have claimed by now. His only saving grace is the post he made asking Zona to tell him if he is going to shoot him the previous day. Which from a Town or Mafia perspective doesn't mean Zona is a Vigilante because he could very well be an SK. If it comes out that Zona shot at BayonetteAnderson, then the Mafia have enough "proof" to say Zona is an SK and should be lynched: he tried to kill the one player he saw with daykilling power which is the only thing a conventional SK is vulnerable to. Add in that Zona iirc asked BayonetteAnderson if he only had 1 shot and this is cake. At this point, the Town is pretty fucked unless bum's claim is believeable. With everyone else being either generally useless/lazy (sandroba/bum) up to now, Zona playing 1 against 4, wherebugsgo with some bad reads and bad decisions (not entirely his fault), Jackal not looking at Palmar's past posts hard enough, and Curu dead (was the best hope for the Town aside from Zona) this is going to take a miracle. Even if Palmar got lynched and zona shooting BA - chaos13 is the safest of all the Scum. While he hasn't been the most protown voice out there, he is less scummy looking than everyone else that would be suspect and that is usually good enough to win in Towns like this. If BA doesn't die tonight, then he is shooting bumatlarge tomorrow for obvious reasons. Double voting Mig + chaoser + BA could end up wrecking the Town 10 seconds after the Night is over. Up to this point of Day 3 (1:12 PM ET) everything has to go right for the Town and then some. --------middle of Day 3 bumatlarge finally claims PGO. A note on PGO (the one that kills anyone who visits them): There are lots of venom filled and angry discussions about this role. Some consider it too swingy (it isn't), some state it's game breaking (possible, but not likely) and some feel it punishes the Town (somewhat true. A bad PGO player will end the game for the Town very fast). This is the thing about it - as PGO you are rewarded for playing in a manner that attracts SCUM NKs and sways away Town PRs. Doing this usually means being an active contributor and getting Scum lynched. DTs probably wont visit you, Vigilantes wont shoot you - Medics might check up on you. Which brings us to the other ugly part of PGOs: claiming. Some think PGOs should claim early on to avoid getting Town PRs capped. IMO you should just keep telling any prot roles to leave you alone. Even if people figure out your PGO that'll save some Town PRs. You might get policy lynched but thats better than endgaming the Town. Of course if you're playing well and it's only a medic that might die, think carefully before early claiming. Unfortunately bum hasn't been very active or leading lynches on Scum. however, when stacked up in a way that says "either bum is lying or Palmar is lying" it looks better. Palmar's thrown around over 9,000 accusations in this game. The DT claim just seems off - he's already saying there is a Framer/GF or he's Insane. While having a handy excuse ready for the flip he already knows is coming isn't an indicator he is scum, when taken along with the mass finger pointing and his past posts it turns his scum reading from "suspicious" to "very likely". The claim was bad. But it accomplished 1 really good, possible game ending move that for a Town thats already doing bad: Jackal58 claims Parity Cop. Why? He got 2 innocent results and even if he believed Palmar keeping it to himself after seeing a protective role get capped would be a good idea. Waiting for bum to claim and then thinking about it would have been better. Waiting to see who gets lynched would be optimum. As of now, especially if he believes Mafia has 2KP this is just a bad move. Him and Zona are food for tonight. He didn't even need to claim PC because the information it adds to the public view of the game doesn't help resolve who is lying between bum or Palmar if you are looking at Palmar's behavior. Palmar just buried himself but I don't think most people would catch it. Assume for a second Palmar is a Detective for real. He never mentioned that his role stated he could be a variety of sanities - and this is important: Palmar is adamant that he is insane because of the conflicting check with Jackal on WBG. 3 things here that makes it an easy lynch: 1.) Palmar never even questions if Jackal is really a cop. He takes it at face value immediately. Scum slip. 2.) When did Palmar claim that this Insane DT with respect to Jackal's claim? http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewpost.php?post_id=11349212 It was before Jackal claimed. He was parroting the Insane DT thing as an excuse in advance. Once Jackal claimed he ran with it and no one except bum(obviously), Zona and somewhat sandroba are paying attention. 3.) The MAJOR point that should lead to Palmar's lynch. If you are a Town DT, and I never told you what possible sanities you could be and you're in LYLO - you would atleast post the possibility that there could be role tampering. But he immediately wants to get rid of bum. In an almost LYLO situation. Not something a smart Townie would do so quickly. This one move might actually be a game changer. The Mafia cant get hasty here - they need to be very careful and NOT all vote bumatlarge. Let some other fool do it and use the hidden vote. If they all pile on bum, and Zona calls out who he's going to kill tonight, there is a chance GGQ wisens up and shoots the other Scum player. That would drop them to 2 players going into Day 4 where it's obvious who voted for Town. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. ---continuing at around 8pm ET Mig wrote: So the only possible way for palmar to be red is if A) jackal and palmar are both mafia and both fake claimed dt (seems unlikely for 2 mafia to risk fake claiming dt when there would likely be another dt to counter claim them) or B) palmar is gf/framed the night jackal checked him (possible but would have to be extremely bad luck for town) Fell into the same line of thinking as Palmar. Like I said before, if Palmar was a Town aligned DT there are other just as easily possible scenarios. Not good. "If palmar is mafia and sandroba is town there would be literally 0 reason for palmar to ever fake claim." This doesn't even make sense. As I've written countless times in the past - the death of one player doesn't guarantee the alignment of another except in clashing role claims or a scenario where Town/Mafia counts indicate it must be so. This isn't one of those scenarios by any means. This is actually a mistake Townies usually make, but if I was Town this game I'd view Mig as essentially useless to winning right now and start thinking about whose side he's on after these 2 snippets he just posted. xtttfc is just another member of the Scum team at this point. No help to the Town at all. Voting for sandroba, as useless as he is when there are two clashing claims just shows your head is in jubjub world. Palmar keeps repeating that the Town is in LYLO when it hasn't been confirmed how much KP is Scum. Mig rides the wagon obviously because he's Scum so it makes sense. Push the fear tactic :D. sandroba calls Zona confirmed Town. Not true at all. Not a good idea to slip at a time like this. Uh oh. All this talk about what Mafia would do, and why would Mafia take the spotlight, Mafia try to lay low - useless chatter. Mafia players have different styles and at the end of the day the way a Scum would play is to do whatever they think will make them pass for Town. If it means being active then they'll be in every discussion along with the Town. Silly that people still think all Mafia cower in fear trying to avoid a DT check. I myself have been DT checked, caught by Watchers, tracked by Trackers to dead Town bodies, checked by Gunsmiths, and even mysteriously survived Town Vigi hits as SK. There is almost always a way out of everything. Once you hit a certain level of playing as Scum you realize stuff like "scum tells" are laughably easy to use against the Town. Not all Scum tells are useful in every game. The "mafia avoid the spotlight" scum tell is one of them. Interestingly the Mafia are the one using it. Might as well since the momentum shift might be brutal. Keep fighting! sandroba writes: Read Palmar's day1. He suspects GGQ and Mig. "Roflskates I'ma check bum!" Cool story bro. About time someone read Palmar's past posts. His DT claim is on the frying pan. Jackal58 is useless at this point. He isn't even thinking objectively here. What do I tell people about assessing a situation? Really, sandroba even if he was scum has a point here: 2 DTs in a game where Scum has no RB and you just saw the existence of a protective role? Even if sandroba is wrong (possible) just stop and think about it for a minute. BayonetteAnderson comes in and busses Palmar. Of all the people that should bus Palmar, it should be chaos13. This could be bad. GGQ writes: Secondly, the way he doesn't push his own guilty on bumatlarge. Instead he offers three possibilities despite the unlikeliness of them and just waits for other people... perhaps waiting for jackal's claim? Welcome to the party GGQ. You're late but we saved you a plate of food. xtfffc votes for Palmar...then BA unvotes. Nail.In.The.Coffin. At this point just let Palmar die. This one move might implicate THREE Mafia if the hammer falls. What a disaster this could be. Well, the hammer will fall. Mig talks about a PGO being OP in the setup (accounting for 2 DTs) because it would guarantee Mafia kills. Either he doesn't know how the role works(or knows a different kind of PGO) or he's just spouting bs. At this point the only sensible Townies (Zona/bumatlarge) will probably pick up on this and put him in the grave along with BA. At this point (8:30 PM ET) the Scum team just needs to stop talking. The chance of going from 4 to 1 Scum in 36 hours is a very real possibility at the moment. Whatever happens with this lynch, GGQ only has ONE play: Shoot BA. There is literally no other play that he has if he's paying attention. A dead medic and a guy that showed he can daykill. It's not even worth it to fuck around and let him live even if you aren't sure of his alignment. 11:15PM - after bum flips it finally dawns on Jackal58 what's going on. If *anyone* is even paying attention BA and Palmar are both goners. The Politician claim was just as bad the DT claim. When politician's buy votes it shows up on the voting list. You don't see the player POST that their vote was bought. That's just ridiculously dumb and not even realistic for a mod to enforce. Is a moderator really going to PM a player and say "hey, post ##vote player x because your vote has been bought". That doesn't even make sense because anyone can then fake claim Politican with no way to verify. It's also a waste of time. The moderator can in a much easier way just update the vote count and THEN the player can say what happened. 2 bad claims by Mafia. This could end very badly. 11:30 BayonetteAnderson just slipped...again. Palmar obviously lied. But it doesn't mean Jackal lied. Palmar lying is obvious because bum's role states Palmar could never visit him. There are no role switching roles in the game as far as Town knows so his claim is bogus. Jackal stating he checked Palmar and WBG is still not concrete true/false. Of course Jackal has to realize there is some kind of alignment tampering by now. BA ignored it and immediately jumped on the "kill jackal" train. Not a good idea. Mig/BA/and Palmar are all out in the open. From a sure lynch of sandroba to 75% of the Scum team outted due to a stupid DT claim that wasn't worth it, a terrible Politician claim that once someone uses their heads kills BA, and Mig who's just going to have to deal with being lynch bait from now on. A day ago it would have taken a catastrophic set of events for the Scum team to lose this game - well looks like it happened. But hey - at least chaos13 is looking good! Unfortunately if the other 3 die, he's no longer the least scummy of the unconfirmed innocents. Too much bussing or not enough at the right time (I've talked about why you shouldn't do this a lot in the past) plus not thinking out your fake claim. For them to win this it relies on GGQ fucking up his NK choice. -6:36 AM ET Woke up early because I slept so much during the day yesterday. I see Zona with a list coordinating shots with what he assumes is a second Town vigilante. 3 of the 4 lists on the name are Mafia. 1 of those names is chaos13, the one Mafia who should have been well hidden. I assume Mig is in his bed somewhere having nightmares. Looks like I'm not the only one unable to sleep tonight P.S. - Jackal58, sandroba AND xtfftc have somewhat "figured it out". I'm going to name this post "1 Roleclaim to doom them all" <insert cheesy Lord of the Rings MSPaint graphic here> -9:19 AM ET Scratch Jackal. He thinks instead of Palmar being insane, he is. Nevermind mind that this isn't likely due to him getting a "Same" result on wbg and Palmar with wbg flipping innocent. Occam's Razor is a really good tool: the simplest explanation is the most likely. Palmar is Scum. Just read the thread to see why. P.S. - Palmar goes the Caller route and throws out a busdriver issue and then feigns confusion on how it would work with a PGO. The role clearly shows a busdriver would be killed. For a guy who was so sure he was an Insane DT and figured it out so fast, he can't figure this out? The mountain of evidence against him is staggering. As a side note, at the time of this writing GGQ nor Zona have elected to shoot Palmar. BarettaAnderson and chaos13 are slated to be shot. When the most obvious member of your Scum team isn't even being Night Killed that means he is on auto-lynch the next day. Like I said earlier, likely possibility that this can go from 4 to 1 fast. It will take 12 hours longer but they definitely hit worst case scenario. Mig, a pretty guilty looking guy could be the last one standing. When everyone else flips he'll probably be assumed to be the mystery voter. Ouch. P.P.S - chaos13 wrote: "Yeah unfortunately the quickest way for an SK to win is to side with mafia and kill a townie." A hidden plea to the SK? Can't blame him. Things were looking good for a long time before the DT and Politician claims. Kinda feel bad for the Mafia because BayonetteAnderson got away with a Day Vigi shot and put them on solid ground. They got rid of the Jailkeeper, had Zona pegged as a target and had no obstacles to a win (that they knew of). I know I've already stated this so far in the summary but it's not always worth it to save a team member. When he gets in deep just let him die for the good of the team. Looks like everyone is going to be dragged down. GGQ shows up and pretty much puts the "lol y so scum?" post on Palmar. If Zona dies tonight, Jackal being lynch bait...oh my. Very good chance of GGQ winning now. He was almost dead in the water and the Scum team's play brought him back to life even though he didn't know it. He'll have sandroba, jackal, and xtfftc to go through. One of them is a PC who is no use, one was an inactive as hell player (who'd probably be shot), and the other was lost for the first 3 days. He'd probably leave Jackal alive though to confirm his innocence, or in the day just call bs on Jackal's claim and gut him. A VT claim is his best play as no Detective claim is going to be taken seriously with all thats happened so far. Day 4: Almost worst case scenario for Scum. Chaos13 and BA both die by night, Zona dies but isn't the SK. Palmar is a sure lynch during the day. Game just about over for them. ---9:48 AM ET sandroba puts the SK idea out there. There is a good possibility that there are 2 Town sided killing roles. No way to prove an SK is out there. GGQ calls him on it, and unfortunately sandroba who already has low credibility starts coming up with scenarios of who is SK. At this point I'm like 90% sure GGQ will win the game. Palmar shows up and posts some derpfest post. Something about Alignment Checking GGQ and getting SK. Good bye Palmar, good bye Mig. It was nice knowing you. Nevermind hold that thought. sandroba put a vote on Mig when Palmar is obvious Scum. Oh no. Town's chances of winning just dropped. Mig could somehow go from "surely scum" to "possible town" due to sandroba's dumb play. Bump GGQ's chances of winning to 99%. He flops back to Palmar a while later but the damage has been done. Mig dying tonight and Jackal dying tonight means the game is over. GGQ doesn't have to work hard to get xtfftc or sandroba to lynch one or the other. In fact just lynch sandroba. Actually, just Mig dying ends the game. Even assuming Mig shot GGQ and only Mig died GGQ has a shot at winning. Since Mig is dead and he's the last Mafia there would obviously at this point be an SK. Jackal's claim can be legit or not - it doesn't matter because everyone he checks would flip "Same". The only way he's on a safety valve is that it's very unlikely that GGQ would try to lynch him. sandroba or xtfftc are easier to get rid of since at this point, Palmar being lawyered Night 1 makes sense. The claim holds. This means just convincing 2 of them to lynch sandroba/xtfftc wins him the game. Being that out of all 4 of them he is the only one who wasn't useless at any point of the game he should have the most weight. With sandroba throwing the SK stuff out there and voting Mig before Palmar at one point he should be food. All GGQ needs to do is shoot Mig and not play around. It doesn't matter what Mig does tonight - Mafia lost and SK has a better than 75% chance of winning (any 3 out of the 4 remaining players + his town cred/uselessness of everyone else left). As an SK while it's important to read the thread it's doubly important not to listen to the pleas of any of the players trying to save their own asses. The only thing that makes sense is doing what helps you avoid the lynch. Likewise, when SKs do dumb shit like claim and try to cut deals with the Town they should be lycnhed on the spot or the next day. Some players have a tendency to think letting the SK live means he's going to just not shoot you in the face when the time is right. These players also tend to by lynch bait so maybe it doesn't matter what they say. Update: I have access to the Scum QT and just read some of it. Poor Mig. I guess leaving Palmar and BayonetteAnderson to go off and make plans by themselves is now going to be banned if either end up on your Scum team . I wonder how it feels to go to sleep thinking the game is won, then waking up to see doomsday. Actually scratch that I do know how that feels - I've been on Scum teams with Pandain, RebirthofLegend, Kurumi aka the 3 Demons of Corruption. One has crazy ideas and always appears Scummy but somehow outlives everyone, the next just doesn't care and will gut the entire Scum team just to live, and I'm not even sure if the last guy knows how to read. --Saturday Morning 8:30 AM ET I dont think GGQ realized how close he is to winning. Should have read the thread and payed attention to the vote that got bumatlarge lynched. As of right now, GGQ is going to shoot Jackal(no use killing him), and Mig is killing xtfftc. Chances of winning for GGQ? From 75%+ down to 50% - with 3 players majority to lynch is 2. Mig has 2 votes so he isn't dying unless he isn't around and sandroba and GGQ quickvote. Either way the game ends with the Day vote since Town has lost. If Mig puts both votes on GGQ, Mafia win. If they go to sandroba, GGQ wins. Either way this was a game where the Mafia team went from a sure win do to their own actions, a sure loss due to their actions, and now a 50% chance of winning due to the SK's misfirings finally catching up with him. Talk about a nasty swing. If the Scum team wins I am expecting lots of rage. Also Mig shot xtfftc, which is useless too. Should have shot Jackal because you know he isn't lying about his role. Funny enough, Jackal would find Mig to be Scum today effectively putting a nail in the coffin on the Scum team - but GGQ shot him. Wow. A little explanation on why Mig over Jackal: It was obvious, as ridiculous as it was, that Mafia all piled up on the bumatlarge wagon to get him lynched and save Palmar. The Anonymous vote solidified it. With BarettaAnderson flipping Scum it also shows his vote change was the hammer. This means of the 5 players that were on the wagon (Mig, Jackal58, BA, Palmar, chaos13) 1 is Town since 5 votes came from 4 Mafia. BA, Palmar, and chaos13 all flipped Scum and NONE flipped Double Voter or any role that effects voting counts. At this point GGQ has to narrow things down to Jackal58 and Mig. While both of them played like crap from a Town P.O.V., even if you didn't read any of Mig's bs the first few days there is one important issue that lets you know shooting Mig is going to give you a higher chance of killing the last Scum... ...Jackal58 claimed, Mig didn't. No other information role has claimed. No one has flipped anything of the sort. This is a major point in Jackal's favor as it isn't likely there are 0 information roles in the game. Especially if you count the roles that have flipped so far. Jackal's claim holds up because he checked Palmar and chaos13 flipped Lawyer. It's possible Jackal could be lying but not likely. He has an alibi. He is likely a Parity Cop. Since you're an SK you don't care what a PC does since you show up Innocent/Same to an alignment check since Jackal's last check was on a Town player. Mig hasn't claimed anything. Go back to the point about information roles. If Mig or sandroba are information roles, then they would have had to claim by now. Come on, you're going into a 3 person or 4 person LYLO with no results? No way. GGQ should know he has to pop the Scum with extra voting power. As if 3 people are left, his fate is no longer in his hands. If 4 people are left (with 3 votes to lynch) he has slightly better odds to win but NOT by shooting the PC. If that's the case, leave the PC alone since he is no danger to you and hope he finds the last Scum. Which amazingly, happened. But GGQ killed him. -11:30AM Rereading the last day interactions it probably isn't too farfetched to see how Mig could possibly live. While he didn't outright say it, he comes off as a Townie who knows he's innocent and that someone must be lying. It would take a reread of the thread to crush this little act - but players have short memories. If he wins this for the Mafia team after the Town killed 3 out of 4 in a row there might be a riot. ---12:17AM ET Sunday Morning Mig is going to vote GGQ off. Prepare the riot gas. Lessons learned: 1.) If you are going to fake claim, make it sensible. 2.) Let your teammates die for the good of the team. 3.)Winning with SK is hard, dont make it harder on yourself. With the Town and Scum making such slipups, GGQ made it to the last day but could have done more damage earlier. Even the last night came down to picking the right player to kill and he picked the one he didn't need to touch. 4.) Townies that play like shit have no credibility later on unless they A.) break the game somehow B.) show up with critical information C.) get confirmed Town or D.) are named Ace Other than that, be lazy at your own risk. You can be a detective and people will kick your claim in the trash. 5.) Bussing your teammate is not a good idea all of the time. Lucky for Scum no one went back to read the Palmar/Mig exchange Day 1. 6.) When playing Scum, you should read the thread just as carefully as Town. Look for slipups in logic and crush them. The only difference in your motivations are based on the PM you got. Town can do scummy things too - punish them. When they flip it's not like you'll be lynched. At best someone will say you got a Townie lynched because they played badly - durr. *yawn* and go lynch another Townie. 7.) SK - balance Scum and Town numbers. If anything, kill anyone that can kill you. BarettaAnderson should have been shot the Night after he killed iGrok. Leaving a Day Vigi alive was a risky move. Now for a small notice on the Russian Vigilante. I nerfed the role because it was too broken, even though it was still powerful. The original role worked almost the same except you weren't allowed to pass the gun off. This wasn't broken but it punished the Vigilante too much for shooting Townies, and sometimes dumb people need to be gotten rid of so I changed it. The next version was what you see now, but the RV could only pass the gun to ONE person. 2 reasons why this was messed up: 1.) The maximum number of NKs was 5 excluding the RV him/herself; PGO popping Scum/PC/JK, Scum NK, and SK NK. Giving the gun to 1 player wasn't good. 2.) Most importantly it could lead to some powerful stuff if used like this. The Night you shoot role claim and announce how your role works. State that you passed the gun to someone in the Town. Don't name them yet. If the Mafia do not kill you that night, then they are boned. Remember you know who has the gun. That night being compulsive they shoot. If they hit Mafia that player is confirmed Town. The real killer was what happens if Mafia or SK pick up the gun: The gun doesn't go anywhere. 3.) The day after you shoot, the player that picked up the gun would claim. 4.) They would tell the Town who they are shooting that night. 5.) If that player hit Mafia he'd also be confirmed Town. If that player hit Town and lived, that means he's Town that survived the suicide shot, or Scum/SK. 6.) If that player is Town, the gun had to move. That means the person who picked it up the next day would claim. The previous player is likely Town. 7.) If no one claims to have the gun the next day, then the player is Scum/SK. Lynch. The gun didn't move. 8.) If the Scum lied and got his Scum buddy to claim that he picked up the gun, then it's going to be mighty hard to explain things if one of you dies. Good luck getting out of that jam. The only hitch in this plan would be a medic not reading the thread. The Scum could just kill the player that the RV picked on Night 1, but a competent medic would just protect the person - assuming they weren't picked. The gun would have been randomly distributed to someone in the game if Mafia killed the target. If it went to Town well, that's a waste. This was incredibly too good so I changed it: You had to pick 4 players and I'd RNG a number and give it to one of them. This way if your chosen player died, it's almost guranteed someone would get the gun solving issue #1. It also made it so that if you tried the strategy you'd have to name all 4 players since you don't know for sure which one got the gun - therefore weakening the strategy and at least giving the Mafia/SK some breathing room. The only thing that would screw them is if one of them was named in the pool of 4 AND the other players in the pool ended up dying. Of course as the game went on longer this had a high chance of happening, only countered by the fact that a Town player with the gun could possibily commit suicide before this point by killing off too many Townies. Awards: The "He/She Gets It Award" for best performance by a Townie goes to Zona. Honorable mention to Curu. Both of them tried their best to make sense of the uselessness going on. If JeeJee had lived longer he might have gotten a mention in this too. The "Holy Shit How Is He Still Alive" Award - Mig. No explanation needed. The KavCaprio award for most shocking acting performance goes to Palmar. Probably one of the worst fake claims I've ever seen and he LIVED just to claim Scum the next day. The Vivi57/Shikyo award for "please modkill b4 LYLO" goes to the collective Town. Laziness and not thinking is what lost you the game. This game was a little harder than normal for Mafia due to them having 1 KP and power only during the Day. Meaning they had to get away with some stuff if they wanted to win and they did. The Kurumi award for "this guy might be in the game just to troll us" goes to sandroba. The best newbie award goes to wherebugsgo for blocking a hit on Zona. The worst newbie award goes to wherebugsgo for blocking a hit on BayonetteAnderson. The best newbie award goes to wherebugsgo for roleblocking BayonetteAnderson, screwing up any chance of the Mafia lawling their way to a win with a Day Vigi shot. And finally the "WTF was that moment" award goes to all the Scum piling on bumatlarge to get him voted off, dragging Jackal58 in, and then leaving him alive just long enough to catch a bullet to the face. No idea how that happened but w/e. --End--

Palmar's fake claim was horrible and served no purpose for our team. He did it just for fun like a bastard. I raged so hard at him over it. We ended up all piling onto bum on day3 because we thought there was a chance bum was the SK. If bum was the SK then town could only have 1 kp and it was game over. In retrospect it was almost certainly a mistake. Should have just let palmar die.

Also I still think we needed to have bussed Palmar once he claimed DT, could have easily gotten Jackal killed and then won from there. All is well that ends well, I guess.

I targetted you because no matter what alignment you were it would've been a good choice, though I leaned town on you at first. Luckily it stopped you from shooting a second time anyway :p
