I have always been a huge fan of the Korean BW scene. Both amateur and professional. Watching thousands of streams since its genesis. Then again its like bad comedians and plenty of other genres where hacks receive enormous attention, while real talent is overlooked. I don't even consider this guy eccentric. He just seems to be dying for attention.

If it was some noob doing these ridiculous things, I don't think he would've got half the attention he gets now.

It's also probably because he's the #1 watched stream on Afreeca and gets donated money frequently just for his little shows. Yes on top of being quite a good player there are lots of games where he doesn't speak for an entire game because he's concentrating then he decides to put on a show. I'm not sure if you're calling him a hack or not but you should at least do a little research first lol.

This particular guy was known in TL since a long while ago because of a bunch of replays of him playing came out while he was an amateur. I picked up on him back then too. When I heard that he started livestreaming I went to watch him because I remembered how good he was. The fact that he acts like a lunatic on stream was an unexpected and fun bonus. I'm sure there's a lot of people that watch him just for his crazy antics, but his actual gameplay is worth watching. Even moreso now, as most of the good BW streamers that were on TL don't stream BW anymore.
