So the content of your post is: a) let's actually not lynch liars b) I'll tunnel anyone who dares scumhunt, unless I agree with their methods/arguments. I think there is a very clear difference between scumhunting and spamming.

Sorry, but what is the point of saying who you picked the role for?
If scum kill the person who wrote their role, they are free to claim anything. Better no one really knows who their creator is.

Except that:
a) forcing vig shots on liars and lurkers is like saying 'who has a kill visitors role and WANTS to be shot tonight?'
b) you say you'll tunnel anyone based on shoddy evidence and then say that we can't lynch liars... what kind of amazingly accurate evidence do you expect day 1?

I didn't play in the original PTP or even PYP but I'm pretty sure there are mechanics in the game that we can abuse.
So we're not allowed to claim who we picked for and what role we picked. Still, the person that gave you your role knows what you are and what you are capable of. We should use this to our advantage by saying things only our role picker would understand. As such:
@Role-picker: I am going to rage as soon as I get the chance.
This only leaves the scum wondering what I can possibly do, but my role picker knows exactly what I am referring to.
Remember, the strongest role is one that can be confirmed. If you can be confirmed town then you should do everything in your power to do so, but if you can hide your role then do so.
I assume there are masons in this game, you guys should probably post minimally in the game until you have discussed enough to make a solid judgement. As for Vigs, be careful who you shoot (duh)
inb4 mass town kill day 1

I'm saying that I'll tunnel anyone that has no apparent thought process or logic behind their push/vote. Day 1 we try to produce info so we can lynch more accurately. And yes, I suppose PGO is a problem, but we can easily identify it if a guy is actively lying/lurking despite the fact that vigs will shoot him and adapt to it and lynch the guy. It's just a guideline, not a rule set in stone. Lynching someone that's actively disrupting/pushing mafia objectives is way more productive for info than easy voting for a lurker.

+ Show Spoiler + You are the Bruce Banner / hulk
Every time a town person is killed you gain rage when your rage reaches six you become the hulk for one cycle killing anyone who lynches / attempts to kill you
... Whats the bet I am actually right?

@heist
It's a day 1 plan so that's hardly applicable. It would be nice for Town since Mafia can freely talk about the roles they've picked I assume as it's in their QT and not in the thread.
But I don't know if it's worth the shitstorm sandroba, since we don't know what the penalties are. I know the one I made up for sure would hurt Town more than Mafia.
@yongminii
I don't understand the point of your thing at all. Your role picker already fully knows what your role is, what use is hinting at your role to them going to do? Unless you want to subtly tell them what you're planning to do with your role, but you have no assurance that they are Town.

Yo Potter you gotta hook up with me we gots scum to catch and all dat shitz.

It's a perfectly logical choice if he is scum... he wants to rage as soon as possible to go on a mass killing spree
Ill keep the fake role claims down for a while at any rate.

Is this a post restriction or has the meaning of it just completely gone over my head?

For a second I thought I was in the wrong game

Btw, I've got a pm from the host saying I've found an old stick in my attic, and I can give it to someone. It's not part of my role. Did anyone got anything similar?

@yongminii You spelled my name wrong, I hate you.

Unless you want to subtly tell them what you're planning to do with your role, but you have no assurance that they are Town. You misunderstand. I am not 'hinting' at my role, if you look carefully you'll see that I'm actually telling my role picker what my intentions are for my role. It's vague enough for no one else to know except my role picker and it won't really do too much if he's scum because it's only my intentions not my overall plans of the game.
I would also like to ask Drazerk to keep the trollage down. I'm pretty sure this thread will be a mess when people try to figure out what's happening anyway.
@Tackster no post restrictions remember

Also, theres a high possibility Harry Potter is a scum role.

Its a harry potter game it's probably one of the hallows or some rubbish... someone's role is going to be Voldemort now isn't it?
|
It's a day 1 plan, sure, but its repercussions will last throughout the entire game. If you don't know who created your role, there is always the threat that you can be counterclaimed even if your original creator died.
It would be nice to get handle on what everyone is capable of, but this will just expose more powerful townies to roleblocks, kills, etc.
My policy: Don't reveal someone's role unless they are lying.

Give it to the dog. I think it is unwise to follow a plan and willfully earn our penalties. Some could really hinder successful town play.
