The point of the plan is for batman to shoot whomever they claim about. So they won't risk batman shooting a team mate by confirming him. And there is no reason to try and direct batman's hit into the lurkers. It just doesn't make sense really. Because for one thing they wouldn't have shot some random lurker anyway so it would be an obvious lie.
By switching between 3 computers and 2 different registered accounts I was able to make the unique viewers rise just by switching back and forth between them. I am not 100% sure how it works but that is what I was able to do.
Ok also people look at jackal.
A) he votes nisani instead of YM and B) he was one of the confirmed greens from nas because he told him about the leaks in unique views. There is a very decent chance that if 1 mafia spotted it he would tell the other mafia so they could both claim it to nas to build trust.

It's perfectly legal, and in fact it's been done in other games with success. And I know that BC himself has done it before. I just didn't think of checking it.
I've been talking to Kavdragon we've been investigating this problem. Kavdragon himself has started two circles
Circle 1 (6 Unique Views): Mig, Wiggles, and Varythespider
Circle 2 (7 Unique Views): Palmar, Nazgul, Bum
It doesn't say much, but what I'm suspecting is that the hook is the PM conversation I had with BC that I posted. That maybe got linked in a mafia quicktopic or something.
Right now I say we keep quiet. Kavdragon is going to keep watch over the unique views of his quicktopic and see if anything suspicious is going on. I'll try to do analysis of Wiggles/Mig via in thread information.
I'm going to post in thread that I'm making a clue hunting circle. The hope is I'll have a small enough circle (3 players) so that unique counts can easily be kept track of. Honeypot so to speak.

At the bottom of the page it lists views and unique views. Each unique view is from a different isp. We have had 10 views. I account for 2 of them. 1 from home and one from work. If everybody has viewed the QT from 2 locations that would be 8 unique views. We have 10. Somebody is visiting us. You can check the ISPs of everybody that has posted in the QT. I believe I only posted there from work. But I did view it this morning from home before I left for work. I don't know if it's legal or not (Game wise) but QT could be used as a tool to see who is giving out the link.

How do you know that? Or do you just suspect it?
I'm expecting there to be a scum in the quicktopic. There are two points of the quicktopic. 1) If the scum is in the quicktopic they are less likely to kill people in it since they think they can influence the decisions. 2) Once we start analyzing people, scum will try to distract/defend their teammates. This should make it easier to confirm our findings if the scum has poor defense or we flip the scum later

Wiggles play to this point does not scream scum to me. His outing of VisceraEyes is not in scums interest I wouldn't think. Unless scum team knows who the traitors are and VE really is a stupid townie. I had wondered earlier if scum knew at the games beginning who the traitors were in the same manner as they know who moles are. I know all WIFOM.
Mig was actively searching for the Joker at the games start. Again I don't know if this is in scums interest or not. He also suspected Wiggles of being the Joker. Again more WIFOM. Of those 2 I would have to lean towards Mig based solely upon their posting. And that's weak because I'm just going off of memory atm. Nothing Mig has posted so far is memorable.
In your group of 4 Bum and Kav have few posts period. I don't believe Kav even voted. Palmar is becoming the aggressive townie I played with in merc mini. Naz is coming under some scrutiny for his last minute vote switch. I don't know him so I have no idea how he plays. Or if he has even played before.
My thoughts on who is on your lists. Sorry I'm just thinking out loud. Fwiw I thought red was going to flip green. Day 1 is not my forte'.
I'm not sure why you included YM in your previous post. Could you please explain that. Do you think he's town? I've had a tickle in the back of my head from one of his posts. I'll try to find it. But it wont be until tomorrow I'm about to head off to bed.
While we are talking what are your thoughts on Coag and RoL? I usually know what Coag's alignment is early. Coag claims he's tired of getting lynched or shot on day/night 1 I don't know that I buy it atm. And RoL is just plain not playing like the townie RoL I've seen before..

I've gotten an update on the bait.
Kavdragon's circle of Mig, Wiggles, and Varythespider has 9 Unique views and 5 non-registered.
From this I'm an pretty confident that one of the two (Wiggles, Mig) and one of the four (Nazgul, Palmar, Bum and Kavdragon) are mafia.
