I start at the top position on Python.
Oh how I missed starting games with a drone attempting to walk through my hatchery :D
You see, I’m a bit of a cheesy mofo agressive strategic mastermind in this game. So with that in mind, I choose to open with a 9 pool speed with the intention of making 12 lings with speed and going for a runby.
Ah, sitting on 8 drones, a pool well underway, and I scouted him with my overlord right away. Life. Is. Good.
Finally my overlord gets to his natural and disappoints me greatly. I tell him that but he seems unfazed.
fuuuuuu
Still, I am hopeful that he won’t have a successful block on his ramp when I get there and that I can get in and do damage anyway.
FUUUUUUU!
For reasons that nobody beyond the D level would understand, I go up to 12 lings anyway. They obviously are useless at this point but I have now added a third hatch and droned up a bit.
Captain Standard Man!
I am now prepared to transition into a nice, normal macro game.
JKS LOL !!1!
I now have an idea what he’s doing for the first time since the initial 2 gate.
Quoth the overlord: “C’mon dude fuck off!”
Having been away from sc1 for some time, it managed to slip my mind that corsairs are often paired with a unit that one shots lings without telling you about it.
Oh. Right. Fuck
Suddenly I remember that I’m really really bad and don’t have an overlord anywhere near my natural. So I start my lair, run my drones into my main, and start hauling the fat yet oh so fine asses of a few overlords towards my nat.
Those drones are suddenly quite happy they weren’t chosen to make the hatchery.
Finally I manage to make it over and clean up the DT that killed over half of my hatchery. Money says the guy regretted only having one. ^_^
Another DT manages to get into my main and there’s nothing I can do about it until overlord speed comes up.
“Muahaha” says the DT as he strokes his handlebar moustache.
Fortunately he sees more hydras and overlords in the main and comes back.
“Oh yeah”
A couple of lings that managed to remain unkilled by DTs scout that he probably expanded.
“I give my life to tell you that he expanded! Maybe, idk really.”
By some freak accident, My hydra range and ovie speed finished at pretty much the exact same time because I’m amazing at this game.I go attack with about 30 hydras and a fleet of overlords.
“Instead of going to the battle I think I should go scout the left main. I mean y’never know right?” - Overlord (it was the second one from the top. Lazy bastard).
It seems like he doesnt have much of a standing army so I run right in.
You cant really tell because of the angle but all the hydras actually look like this: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Somehow it turns out that I timed my attack perfectly to hit right before he had enough energy on his templar to storm.
“¯\_(ツ)_/¯ “ - Hydras, “(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻” - Templar
Finally he gets enough energy for one storm. It kills a large chunk of my hydras.
It turns out storm is pretty good in this game
Still, I manage to get up his ramp because he no longer has an army and it turns out High Templar arent that good alone and without energy.
I scout the “way too many bloody gateways” build popularized by Combat-ex. This fellow kinda botched it though since he forgot the double observatory.
Finally he types out. And asks for a rematch. Unfortunately for him, the golden rule of iCCup is that if you steal a game from somebody better than you with a stupid all-in, you decline and avoid them like the plague.
Really all I did after the game was write this. B)
His hangul gets transformed into something that makes about as much sense to me as hangul and the game is officially over.

So I’m hoping I managed to write this out well enough to justify reading a whole big thing about some D level scrub cheesing another D level scrub. ^_^ Peace !
