There will certainly be animations like a big metal door closing-in over the bg, opening to a new UI, and other stuff like that, which I don't think you've taken into account. also that LAN menu... i dont think it will be available for the beta or full release. just to another example of what could be implemented but shall not be due to corporate interests. only time will tell. its about muthafukin time. | ||

If you look at the SC2 general discussion forums there is a new post like everyday titled "WTF WHY DOES SC2 NOT SUPPORT LAN?!" I wish the game menu screeny was larger so that I could make it my screensaver/desktop. | ||
