I didn't use any cheats or slow game speed. I Allowed only SCV, Depot, and Command Centers. The Goal is to make 200/200 SCV ASAP.
I created this map with 2x50 stacks of minerals right next to CC on installation special buildable tile. I created slots for obs (but this is single player).
As soon as I start the map I hit record, build Scv, send to mine, Press '+' 5 times, and start music.
My build is simple:
Constant SCV, 8/10 depot, then Constant CC when minerals allow. I try to keep the CCs with 1 or 2 scv Queued each.
The triggers are set to end the map as soon as 200 scv (men) are there. You can see I get the error maxed out message about 10-15 seconds before victory screen. I completed this at 8:01 minutes (The video ends a few seconds later), This is the world record Afaik (I'm sure someone has done this before me, but I am the first to make a record it AFAIK) so don't flame me.
I was shooting for under 8 and I do think its possible, because I made a few errors and I am not sure if my strategy is the best. I didn't really tinker with any other builds.

-I want someone to beat my record (8:01 min). -I want to see records with Z and P (workers,lords,pylon,nexus,hatch only). -I also want to see records with 'any units' Since everyone wants to do this.
Lets get some healthy competition here, here is the map:
PS- I was planning to make this a Multiplayer map with better triggers (players could buy spells or nukes, etc), disable everything except workers-(etc), and sound effects. The Premise would basically be the same, First to 200 wins. Would anyone be interested in that?

this would have more meaning if done on a normal map. Like luna or someting. Then people can try and come up with diff strats. Also, there should be a battle between races.
The competition afaik was on www.infoceptor.net and terran maxed out with vults MUCH faster that you did it the vid. That was also done on a normal map instead of high money.
This in fact is pointless. Maxing out without an opponent doesn't make any sense.

Should be something like: Fastest 200/200 against a computer on some predetermined map. That was at least you have to remotely think about protecting yourself, instead of a mindless peon mass that any retard could do.
What are they going to try differently? I guess they could get more bang per buck with higher supply using units o.o Never mind, there's no gas. Absolutely not room for inovativity
