Game Specific Rules:
Time Cycle
This game follows a 48 Day/23+1 hour Night cycle. Days will be 48 hours long. Nights will be 23 hours long with a 1 hour non-silent action resolution period. Night actions will be accepted up until the 1 hour action resolution period during which no night actions will be accepted, but everyone is still allowed to post in thread and qts. Currently the deadline is 21:00 GMT (+00:00), but that is subject to change.
Voting
Voting will be done in the voting thread. You may vote for yourself. You must vote each day. You may vote for a no lynch. This game will use a simple plurality lynch. The person with the most votes, or had more votes most recently in case of a tie, gets lynched at the deadline (unless no lynch was chosen).
Clues
There are no clues.
PMs
PMs are not allowed in this game. All communication between hydra heads and mason partners will be done in a qt provided by the hosts. You are never allowed to quote directly from your mason or hydra qt or share the link. This will be strictly moderated. You are allowed to discuss in the thread what was said there, you just can’t quote it.
Hydras:
Maybe. If you want to hydra with someone, PM me to discuss it.
Replacements:
Replacements will be done until Night 2.
Claiming:
Claiming your role is allowed, but you cannot claim when you got your role pm, who sent it to you, etc. Fake roleclaims are provided before the game and on request to all players no matter your alignment.

Game Setup Information
A note on balance
This game is heavily themed. Every effort has been put into this game to balance it, though usage of your brain will be required. If you want to play in a normal game, this is not the game for you. Sign up only if you want to have some fun and aren't overly concerned with balance.
Initially I will only be accepting sign-ups from players who have played already played 1 game of mafia. If we do not have enough people to fill all of the player slots I might open the game to new players. Maybe.
Cybermen win condition: Create a scenario where nothing can prevent the Cybermen from eliminating all anti-Cybermen players.
Town win condition: Eliminate all anti-town players.
3rd party win condition: Unknown (Third parties are not guaranteed to exist)
This is a Closed setup but you do know the following.
This game will involve alignment changing. Do not join this game unless you are comfortable with that.
There are also no notifications this game. No roleblock notifications, no medic saves, nothing. The only exceptions to this rule would be something that in order for it to work or be fair must be told to the player, e.g. player is masoned, player is given an item, etc.

Signup & Moderation Information
Wisdom of the Crowds
If you do not wish to play with a player for any reason, PM me, if I receive enough votes against a player then he or she will not be allowed to play in this game. Your vote against a player will be held in the strictest confidence. You *must* be signed up to vote against someone.
I also reserve the right to disallow players from this game myself. I don't expect to do much of this.
Moderation and Behaviour:
I expect two things from everybody who plays this game:
1. Play in such a way that everybody can have fun.
2. Play to win.
I view the second rule as a part of the first.
This means that you shouldn’t personally attack a player. Attack the argument, not the player. I know that mafia is an emotional game, and I am not going to modkill you for slipping up as long as you apologize for it and stop doing it. Continual, unrepentant, personal attacks are a big no no. Basically, play nice and be considerate of other people and realize that they aren’t you and can take things differently than you as well as be offended by things you wouldn’t be offended by.
Don't talk about replacing out, ragequitting etc. in the thread either. If you need to leave for whatever reason, talk to me privately and we can make arrangements.

I played 3 games before, my first one was huge and it kinda fell apart because veterans just flamed each other lol.
In my 2nd I was mafia and we won flawlessly.
In my 3rd I sub'd out because I was burned out from the previous game, sry for that.

What's the worst that could happen. Even if I end up rolling mafia for the 7th time or something like that, alignment changes to save the day after our lovely hosts will inevitably fail yet again only to give me another mafia role-PM.

I wouldn't mind hydra-ing if someone wants to. OP states that you have to ask the host so if someone wants to just pm him and me and we're good. Or I'll just role mafia solo again

Well, if it is still open in a week & 1/2, I am going to hydra with slam. He has midterms and cannot yet...

I'm gonna hydra too, hydra is when a mafia is shot or lynched and then 2 townies spawn as hydras right?
We are gonna have to burn our targets instead of shooting them to prevent that.

Hydras are 2 players playing as one in the game. They have the same alignment and use a shared account to play the game.
The alignment changing thing means that you start as either town, scum, or 3rd party (if they exist) and there is the possibility of you changing alignments to a side you didn't start as, e.g. you start as town, you become scum; or you start as scum, you become town; or you start as town, you become 3rd party (if they exist); etc.
This game will start when it is full. Most games take a week or two to get filled. It all depends on peoples schedules, current games being played, and the game that is trying to fill up.
