No real reason given besides everyone saying nice things about another.
Only a speculation: It was kind of weired in having Illusion without internet for some days during a lot of team league matches; maybe that tipped things against him. As I said, just a speculation. His results were not fantastic either.
I liked him on mouz, sad it did not work out.

He joined mid Feb. 2013; so quite recently.

He is not at the same skill level of the other team members. mouz wants to be the best. Now they started to act like a team with a clear goal.

Illusion is awesome. Hopefully he'll find a new team soon.
Root has been lacking a super strong terran since Major left, perhaps they will try to sign Illu?
