To be fair, Mouz sorta came outta nowhere after picking up Duran Duran. Now all of a sudden they're a top tier team, like Slacer.
I, for one, am super stoked that Mouz is awesome now because they've been around for so long. Now I just hope 4Kings and TSG start SC2 teams ^_^

That is quite surprinsing, Mouz/Liquid/Mill/Acer are the best EU-teams and if you reduce it on the foreign lignup, Mouz is the best team in the world.

Out of nowhere is a bit over the top, they defeated Quantic, Axiom and Root, before Duran Duran got hired. But yes, the signing of those two really brought back the tradition of the big 4 in Mouz (MaNa, HasuObs, Morrow Vortix, ThorZaIN LucifroN)

Clear money cut move, and good one they got atm best foreign T(Lucifron) proly best upcoming foreign T(Heromarine),One of best foreign Z(Vortix) after Naniwa proly 2nd best toss(Mana) plus Hasuobs(id rank him Top 5 EU toss ish hard to tell tbh) and hope(still didnt break out aside some nice kills in ATC).Id say on paper its hands down best foreign only team. They should just focus on keeping players they got happy, training hard and send them to events they can attend..

I would like to see him on an american team. Like Root or EG.

I love Scarlett on Slacer, but if Mouz somehow picked her up that'd be incredible. Really vicious teamleague lineup, especially if they added another top Terran.

Sad to hear. I think Illusion has been an up and comer for a while. Considering how young he is, I would only expect better results.
Best of luck to him in finding a new team.

So yes, they did kind of come out of nowhere after recruiting the brothers.

Wading through all the negativity and speculation from this thread I have to say Illusion’s place on Mouz always did seem a little off. Sure a foreigner team doesn’t have to just stick with players from their region. Both EG and Liquid (NA and EU teams) have (or have had at some point in time) a healthy mix of European and American (and of course Korean) players on their roster. Mouz have always been very Euro-centric though, the same way Empire has always been very Russia/Eastern Euro-centric.
Mouz have suffered a pretty bad fall from grace, going from one of the true contenders of best foreigner team in 2011 to not even been worth a footnote in 2012. They’ve recently received a shot in the arm and look to be eager to reclaim their days of past glory. I think it’s a real shame there was no place for Illusion on this new campaign, but at the same time it doesn’t really come as a complete surprise.

Hasu 4-0´ed his challenger group (including Nani), won his Premier group over Dayhsi, Dimaga and duckdeok (who he also defeated 2-0 in challenger league), is 3-0 in SC2L over TLO and MMA, leads the EPS rankings. He is without a doubt a top tier foreigner, he just attends not enough premier tournaments to show that.

So yes, they did kind of come out of nowhere after recruiting the brothers. Ah, the "what has XYZ done for me recently" point. Yeah, I guess then you can say that they came out of nowhere. Same is true for any team that doesn't have a very recent champion on them. I think any long time follower of SC2 will know that mouz is a pretty big, European team; hence I don't agree with the came out of nowhere thingie. But w/e I don't have any stake in this and don't want to be too grumpy, so: who's this mouz?

Illusion was just kind of injected onto the scene, with some invite-only appearances helping establish his name. I think his age/being young helped his branding.
On July 18 2013 13:41 HeeroFX wrote: He likely wanted more money, or Mouz didn't want to pay him anymore. Does hurt the mouz a bit. I wonder if they will go after a player like Select, he was on Dignatas, so he isn't a stranger to European teams.
Probably definitely the latter. Was most likely just an option of no pay with potential lan type event funding. I don't see them outright terminating him but hopefully it wasn't a short sighted move on his part to just leave rather than accepting those terms.
Anyhow, best of luck finding a new home Chris.

He wasn't a true Mouz player, he was merely...an Illusion

Fighting illusion . I think, this time good for you.because muze not fit for you and then you can go to better team

Not sure why people keep saying vortix is worth money still, he was a straight patchzerg, lucifron is so much better than his brother, it just wasn't showed in Wings of Broodlordiberty
