That's why they picked up a random American when mouz has always been Europe/Korea/China only. He hasn't been performing over the top like he was before, and mouz got a nice pickup with the Duran brothers, but I wouldn't be so quick to say he's less valuable than HeroMarine and hOpe. Still, mouz didn't really help illusion develop much as a player. I think this move is better for him than it is for mouz. Illusion never was anywhere near the level of Mana and Hasuobs. He made some storylines as a young gun (and NA terran hope) beating some Koreans, but overall he developed a pretty mediocre record (especially vs Koreans).

I'm curious how exactly you think a foreigner team 'develops' a player besides providing financial assistance to keep the player focused on SC2. As far as I'm concerned, mouz was probably having budget issues and needed to cut the dead weight. Illusion hasn't gotten any better in the last year or two and his poor showing at MLG didn't help his case.

Prolly not as good as MaNa but I would definately put him on the level of Hasu.

I am not bashing illusion here but to compare him skillwise to mana and hasuobs is silly. If you want a objective comparison go to aligulac.com On July 18 2013 04:51 Shinta) wrote: That's why they picked up a random American when mouz has always been Europe/Korea/China only. the mouz sc2 squad had never korean or chinese players on: http://aligulac.com/teams/22-mousesports/ Where is your source about the reasoning they picked up illusion? Is that your speculation? HeroMarine is still in school, only 16 years old and already one of the best terrans in europe. I am definitely not agreeing with you on that comparison. On July 18 2013 04:51 Shinta) wrote: I think this move is better for him than it is for mouz. Why? Mouz just picked up 2 great players and has a big line up now. They had the option to extend the contract. I don't see why it was a mistake. btw gl to illusion. i am sure he will find a new team.
