Good luck to him, seems like a good guy.

Don't get what you mean. There is no fixed time for resigns, or is there?

Kespa contracts end August.

Which is completely irrelevant to mouz and Illusion as I wrote above.

Very much disagree with you sir. When illusion was picked up, I'd say he was as good as or better than everyone on the team. That's why they picked up a random American when mouz has always been Europe/Korea/China only.

He hasn't been performing over the top like he was before, and mouz got a nice pickup with the Duran brothers, but I wouldn't be so quick to say he's less valuable than HeroMarine and hOpe.

Still, mouz didn't really help illusion develop much as a player. I think this move is better for him than it is for mouz.

Illusion never was anywhere near the level of Mana and Hasuobs.
He made some storylines as a young gun (and NA terran hope) beating some Koreans, but overall he developed a pretty mediocre record (especially vs Koreans).

Sucks that Mouz is only dealing with EU, hopefully Illusion can find a new team soon!

I'm curious how exactly you think a foreigner team 'develops' a player besides providing financial assistance to keep the player focused on SC2. As far as I'm concerned, mouz was probably having budget issues and needed to cut the dead weight. Illusion hasn't gotten any better in the last year or two and his poor showing at MLG didn't help his case.

There isn't ofc, but renewal period generally runs around the August-September months for a majority of SC2 players, especially those on kespa teams.

I don't think Kespa plays a role here Seriously: Just because they have a certain time for resigning, has zero influence on the international scene.

I realize that that's why I said the majority of SC2 players. SC2..players, includes international. Obviously kespa doesn't play a role in this lol.

That was one of the most unexpected recruitments I've seen, I'm not that surprised by this ending. I don't think they were fitting well together. I guess Illusion will go back to an american team (back to Quantic maybe ?).

Prolly not as good as MaNa but I would definately put him on the level of Hasu.

Sad to see this. Illusion has been good and he has so much potential. For a while he was basically the best USA terran but had some tough groups and tough luck in WCS. Hope to see him find another team quickly and get back to winning games!

Years after the glorious years of CS 1.6 mousesports still has not found the right way to promote their players in other games. No comparison to EG, TL or even SK =/

i didn't find a thing in this statement that is true or that i agree with.

I am not bashing illusion here but to compare him skillwise to mana and hasuobs is silly. If you want a objective comparison go to aligulac.com

the mouz sc2 squad had never korean or chinese players on:

Where is your source about the reasoning they picked up illusion? Is that your speculation?

When you look at the graph you will see that his performance increased:

HeroMarine is still in school, only 16 years old and already one of the best terrans in europe. I am definitely not agreeing with you on that comparison.

How do you know?

Why?
Mouz just picked up 2 great players and has a big line up now.
They had the option to extend the contract. I don't see why it was a mistake.

btw gl to illusion. i am sure he will find a new team.
