Good riddance antiga and ohana.
Though i have heard balance problems on the Neo and Whirlwind, but that could just affect those at the highest level. Who knows.
I feel with this expansion the things blizzard need to work on is the map pool dynamics/rotation. There are some awesome maps being made with only a few playing them... saying that the arcade is in desperate need of some attention (which i hear they are on the job) .

This map pool is good, but WTF no Cloud Kingdom? Blizzard couldn't miss their chance to mess at least something up.
Notice how it has 4 Blizzard maps and 4 GSL/Kespa maps. Someone wants non-Korean comunity mapmaking to just die.
Again, this map pool is actually good, but there is something weird going on with removing CK

Would be cool to have pics of those maps, to check any blizzard change.
From Taeja stream i noticed that on Newkirk Precinct they actually removed the destructible rocks at the center map bases ramps.
Star Station gas geysers look very hot too.

Cloud Kingdom is awfu these days and has been around foreverl, I hope they get rid of Daybreak next <3
Overall a nice solid map pool to start the game with <3

Korhal is one of the worst maps there are, PvP is simply bad there.

How can you call CK awful? It's pretty much universally considered the best WoL map, and is a staple in all the tournaments.
It seems like their intention was to completely replace ALL the maps, but for some reason only Daybreak stayed

Cloud definitely should have stayed over Daybreak.

Why are they still going through with Korhal City? That map is absolute garbage.
Otherwise pretty solid map pool. I'll probably end up using only two of my vetoes on Korhal and Newkirk.

-Cloud Kingdom
-Metalopolis
-Whirlwind
-Scrap Station
-Belshir Beach
-Belshir Vestige
-Planet S
-Korhal City
-Scrap Station
-Desert Oasis

I've never liked Cloud Kingdom, it's got pretty much everything I hate about WoL maps. I know it's considered one of the best maps, but I've never liked it and in HoTS it's actually really broken considering blink all ins are better and drops are faster.

How are blink allins better? They increased research time by 30 seconds.

I'm really glad that Antiga is out. I hated that map. Cloud Kingdom I have mixed feelings about. I really enjoyed TvT and TvZ on it, but hated TvP. I felt like it was really hard to drop on Cloud since the 3rd did a pretty good job of defending the main from drops.
Either way, this new map pool looks exciting!

WHIRLWIND!? TEH SWOON! Neo Planet S could be cool to play as well.
Surprised Daybreak is in but Cloud is out though. Honestly, they were great maps, they've had their time, but enough. It's time to move on, burn both of them. I do not want either in tournaments nor my ladder anymore. They're just too damn old.
Metropolis deserves to come back. I want my full season with it D:
