1. How to evade being creep-jacked (well, know that the enemy is in another place), but 2. How not to get killed after hard creep-fight, when half my units are in red, and the enemy attacks? 3. Why not start fighting the enemy right away, instead of fighting the creeps? Why not attack creeping enemy right away? 4. Why not build loads of low-level units? There isn't really a chance to hold constant stream of footmen/archers from 2 barracks w/o building second barrack of your own, is there?

1. Don't creep in the standard "pattern." Scout. 2. Don't fight creep that you are not prepared for. Abuse health fountains. 3. Stylistic choice. You may draw an advantage if your heroes are leveled more than your opponent's. 4. Hi2Chimera/AoE Spells/Siege Units/ etcetc

seriously i played yesterday
it takes fucking forever to kill someone

what should have been a 10 minute game turned into a 30 minute nightmare

1. Try to know where your opponent is/what he is doing at all times. Shades are ideal if you play undead. However, some amount of being creepjacked is inevitable. Try and jack your opponent back.
2. Don't be in this situation in the first place. If your opponent is playing aggressive, creeping a tough camp isn't the smart thing to do. If human, use Scrolls of Regeneration alot, other races can use their respective methods of healing like salves, statues, wells, spells, w/e
3. You can. Of course, your opponent has to be creeping for this to work. He can just back off the creeping when he realizes you are going to play high pressure harrassment.
4. It's easy to beat. War3 is different from SC in that it's much harder to win quickly due to buildings being hard to kill and heroes can do pretty well to defend while teching. Once your opponent gets higher tech units, its GG you. War3 is not a massing game. Occasionally massing lower tech units can be effective all game, but its quite rare. Archers and grunts can be useful all game long at times.

Yeah I played WC3 TFT for the first time a few months ago and I was just playing ladder, it seemed like after I got about level 15 every game just turned into a 25-35 minute horror story where my opponent would just defend, mass and tech while denying my expo attempts and come back even after I just completely dominated in the early game. Often I would have 2 level 5+ heroes while they had 1 and I would still end up losing to a strat like mass flying things from Undead. Or a human doing gay steam tank stuff. : [
I wanted to like it so bad but the static defense just killed it for me. As far as getting creep jacked, you just gotta keep scrolls of teleport on you and use them quickly when they come up on you. And I think its a pretty good idea to start fighting the enemy pretty early on depending on match up, style and map(On a map like Echo Isles its pretty easy to get away with a little creeping early on since there are some real low level ones around).

1. This is quite good question as there are many factors involved here (matchup, map, hero/unit choice etc.). The best way is to scout all the time and use some units placed "on the lookout" (for example if you're playing orc and your hero is farseer than you can always summon the wolves and send one of them a bit away from you so you would notice enemy coming and react in time etc.).
2. If I understand the question correctly it's that your units/heroes are in red somewhere on the map and the enemy launches attack at your base. In this situation best thing to do would be to go to the nearest shop, buy scroll of healing, use it, tp home or tp home (just make sure you tp deep in your base so the enemy can't attack your units) and try to heal there.
3. If you want to attack enemy right away then I suggest playing orc or human and perfecting your tower rushes, it works most of the time and is used quite often.
4. The problem with low level units is that if enemy techs a bit more then you're screwed (ghouls/archers/footies die too easily to heroes aoe, grunts just don't cut it vs air etc.). It is possible in some situations to win with lots of low level units though (tower rushing, NE vs NE going potm + mass hunts -> basekill etc. etc.).
