After competing with SK Telecom T1 and KT Rolster for 1st, they fell apart in Round 2 and threatened even reaching the post season. But near the end of the 3rd round, ‘God of War’ Shin Dong Won (Hydra) and Leta came back alive and with a 2 match winning streak they reached 4th place.
Especially for Leta who has his first 5 win streak of the season, stopping Lee Jae Dong’s (Jaedong) 6 game winning streak, gave the victory to CJ Entus. He has fulfilled his duties as the captain.
Q. In an important match you won. How do you feel? Leta – To save the team in another dangerous situation, I feel happy. It feels like the Miracle Boy is starting to appear. In the past, those feelings are slowly coming back to me.
Q. The level of this game must have been different. Leta – In my head to head with Jaedong I was very behind, so I felt lots of pressure. Even though I felt like I played the way I wanted, which made my play confident and show a good game.
Q. On ‘Jade’ you must have felt good seeing Jaedong come out. Because Jaedong is a zerg. (past interview Leta mentions he would like to play zerg on this map) Leta – Zerg playing on Jade is a big thank you. (laugh) To build up good entries I think Coach Ju Hoon did lots of work. But I prepared too so I was confident.
Q. You used vultures as your main strategy and it seems like you tricked him. Leta – I didn’t mean to trick him, it wasn’t my intention to do so. (laugh) This might have surprised Jaedong. I think I was very fortunate today.
Q. God of War (reference to Hydra) is coming back alive, CJ is showing good performance. Leta – God of War did great last year and we even reached 1st in the regular season. But I played poorly and it dropped our standings bit by bit. Because I’m doing well in the last stretch, I have to become stronger to keep this up. I am practicing harder and thinking a lot as well. I believe we’ll finish out the season well.
Q. Today’s match all three players’ builds were nice. Leta – Recently we are using our heads more and because of our competitiveness good builds are coming out. Because our entire team puts our head together and bounce ideas off each other, I think we’ll continue to ride the good momentum.
Q. Your next match is against Woongjin Stars. This is a must win for you. Leta – If we continue to communicate and create nice game plans I think we will definitely win. I don’t have a specific player I want to versus but I’ll try my best to win.
Q. CJ players have really pretty hairstyles. Leta – Jang Yoon Chul (Snow) said he had his hair done by his grandmother. So he lost his sideburns. He has lost his manliness, so Snow is struggling a lot.
Q. Any last words? Leta – As I was a bit passive during Round 2, I am riding a good pace. Miracle Mode seems to be turning on; to keep this engine running I will keep recharging so all the players will be strong. Originally ending 1st was our goal but if you just win isn’t that the end? (laugh) I will do my best to show a miracle in the post season.

The commentators were going nuts over this game. They were saying stuff like this is the best strategic game of the season, oh this is just a crazy but such a logical tech switch (or anti-switch?), oh Jaedong will never see this coming Leta did such a fantastic job setting it up, will this be the new trend in TvZ that will make ZvT even harder than it already is, blablabla.
To be honest there have been few games where Terran started mech then suddenly added a bio ball to make a super timing push (pre-defiler/ultra/hive-in-general). I think Flash pulled it off against Jaedong at least once, forgot the map but it was during one of their finals. Flash went primarily goliath+marine+medic as opposed to Leta who had several tanks in the rush, but yeah... anyways, was a great game nonetheless. I should re-watch it on VOD.

No, he just has not been playing that well this season. It's all relative. We expect more from a guy who has won so many Starleagues and dominated for so long than some other zerg player.
