KT Rolster’s Kim Sung Dae (Action) “With a modest mindset, I beat Kim Sung Hyun (Last)”
KT Rolster’s Kim Sung Dae (Action) played a big part removing a competitor to Lee Young Ho (Flash). Action in his match on the 18th with STX SouL, showed his hive tech prowess and was victorious against Kim Sung Hyun (Last). After stopping Last’s all-win streak, Action passed the baton for Flash to win against Baek Dong Jun (Dear) for Flash to retain his 100% win rate.
Q. Your thoughts on your win. A. I think we’re approaching mid-season, but since it’s only my season’s first interview, personally I’m disappointed in myself. It’s been a long time since I played, I wanted to show a good game so I did my best.
Q. Your opponent Last had good momentum. A. For me, I feel more at ease playing against stronger players. His recent momentum was so strong, so I approached it with a modest mindset. (?-Helpu TLs ^^)
Q. You are not doing so well this season. A. Before the season started I had confidence, but my performance did not back me up so I slowly lost it.
Q. After Choi Yong Joo’s (Perfective) retirement, you only have three Zergs. A. Our team’s zergs have a really strong bond, but I’m sad Perfective had to retire. I will do my best to provide Perfective’s share.
Q. Your season goals might have changed. What is your current goal? A. In the start of the season I had a big goal, but I think it is good to focus on one game at a time. I will focus on only the next game.
Q. Did you expect Last’s entry? A. Other than Zergs, I expected Terran or Protoss. Q. Zerg’s don’t have a good win rate on this map, how did you get this entry? A. I think ‘Jade’ is not a good map for Zergs. But since I have not been showing good ZvZ, I felt it was more comfortable to play against Terran or Protoss. To do well, it has to start with one game. Q. What are you doing in your Lunar New Year’s break? A. I’m going back to rest in my hometown and meet my friends. Q. Did you get worried because it was right before break? A. If I did not win this match, I would have felt bothered all break, I’m so glad I won today.
Q. Your next opponent is CJ Entus. A. First, getting entries are important so if I get an entry, I will prepare my best to win.
Q. Any last words? A. Since it’s been such a long time for an interview, it’s hard to adjust. I hope everyone spends their break well.

lol kind of an odd answer
Thanks for the interview, much appreciated.
Hahaha very odd. Thanks for the interview as well. I think it was more of, "I expected Zergs more than I did Terran or Protoss, but I prepared for them as well."

As long as the sun shines down from the heavens.
Actually, it's the opposite. Jade is a pretty anti-zerg map. Out of 31 games, only 6 had Zergs, and only 2 of those Zergs won. In the interview summary in the LR thread, Action said he was more comfortable playing the other two races than he is playing vZ, which is specifically why he chose to come out on a map that had few Zergs.

Oh, haha, then it should probably be more of "I expected Terran or Protoss and not Zerg"? I mean, in response to the question?
Thanks for translating. That defiler usage against Last last night was beautiful, wish he played like that all the time. If only we could somehow put Action through an air purifier or an exorcism so that only good Action is left. Ah, but then KT would be unstoppable wouldn't they.
