That's right, we came 4th, in our very first season. Last year, we were merely a group of unorganized misfits. This year, we will be organized. We will probably still a bunch of misfits, but at least it is a step in the right direction.
If you're intrigued, and you go to the U of Ottawa, PM me about it. Or post here.
And check this out, if you haven't already.

Ladies (lol, I wish) and Gents at U of Ottawa!
We have a shiny new logo!
I gotta say, this might be sexier than anything coming out of the Xeris school of design (sorry, but it's true). Show up to our table in SITE tomorrow at the club fair!
PS - What happened to the auto-format for pics on TL?
+ Show Spoiler +I'm in the process of trying to get us registerd at the university as a "competitive club". It'll be pretty freaking epic if I do, considering that even the mens soccer doesn't have that status.....

Sup, i go to UOttawa and i'm new to team liquid. I'd be interested in participating in an sc2 event, so um as you put it i'm intrigued.

Is there a way to play on the uOttawa wireless internet if you're using their WPA (since you can't use the VPN if you're running 64-bit Windows)?
|
You need to run the VPN client to get SC2 or BW working on campus. There should be a 64-bit version..... I'd give you a link, but I can't get one since I'm not on the WPA network at the moment.....
We were able to download both the 32-bit and 64-bit clients yesterday, although we couldn't get it to work right on one of the computers (it appears that the connection entry was wrong, although I'm not sure why it was wrong on one computer and worked on the other that downloaded it). That computer wasn't strong enough to run SC2 though.....
|
I assume the 64-bit client is on the uOttawa website then, I've been trying to find it for a while but I haven't been able to download a working 64-bit VPN client. I'll try tomorrow when I go to class.
|
Yes, it's on the UOttawa site, and you have to be on their network to access the file.
If there are problems with it, you could always email the webmaster or something. I think it's something like webmaster@uottawa.ca.....
