I recently created and released a map to help players (Terran for the first iteration) practice their stutter step micro where stutter step micro is basically the act of canceling an attack animation to allow units to move and attack instead of just standing still. Still confused? Watch the video. All will be revealed in due time.

Cool stuff. Adding stimmable (or perma-stim) infantry would be a nice addition if you're going to be updating it.

As a primary T player who switched to Random, I find I am mostly passable at MM stutterstep micro as well as Stalker micro, but my Roach and Hydra micro are abysmal. Their turn rates are so much worse.

Only useful with roaches, Bloodlords and situationally Mutalisks really, hydras way too slow :S

How all the units work seems very fleshed out, covered all your bases there. Haha i wish it was on the custom map list so i could practice with the b.net 2(point)lag >.<

isn't this the same concept as goon/hydra micro in sc1 but sc1 animation is less. i'd imagine this can apply to wc3 too. and the dota silencer with his orb walk. After that I just always called it the "orb walk" haha

orb walking. animation canceling. it's all referring to the same kind of thing. I call it stutter stepping because I feel like when you 'orb walk' with a marine he's stuttering and stepping.
