Is there a way to snap the terrain brush to the grid? I'm just looking for a way to make a perfect checkerboard pattern with different textures.

1: How do you do a 2v2v2 -- "custom" selection doesn't work for some reason.

How do you fill a bottomless pit with water? I tried using the water tool but that just makes a big square. I want to fill up the pit with water.

Just put those squares of water on the spots where you want to have the water. Next thing you do is click the button "Edit Water" below the different water types. There will be a new window called "Object Values". Second line on the right you'll see the category "Height", click and hold the bottom arrow until you got the water the way you want it.

yes. f7 (for data), select Terrain Texture Sets from the Data Type dropdown. Find your texture set. Select it, then on the right, double click the value next to Cliffs. Select *textureset* Manmade Cliffs. In the Selected Values dropdown select the new cliff type to use. Press OK. This won't change them right away. Back on main window, Map menu, Map Textures. Click on *textureset* Manmade Cliffs, and select the new cliff type to convert them to that you chose earlier in the data editor. Convert.

don't think you can change it for only one race's workers. For all of them, f7 (for data window), units tab, mineral field, behaviors, Minerals (Mineral Field), Stats - Harvest Time (edit that)

If you are going to ask about an issue it helps to be accurate in describing it. You aren't using Vespene Geysers. You are using Rich Vespene Geysers, which are bugged. You can fix them in the data editor. Select Rich Vespene Geyser in the units tab. Doubleclick the value next to Movement - Collide. Uncheck everything but Structure. Fixed. But your map is no longer Melee. To fix while remaining a melee map, switch them to regular geysers

Or mess with movement blockers (thanks dezi). It's kludgy and workers dance around trying desperately to go the long way but you can more or less force them into line. Still wish Blizz would fix it in a patch or something.

How do I change the air units distance to ground? I want to make some of them bigger, but they always seem to touch the ground. :/

Sentries are broken in my maps. Just trying to work on some FF micro on ramps on Unit Tester and the Riley's Olympics maps. On Riley's the sentries never spawn and when I try to spawn some on the Unit Tester map I get this error.

Did I somehow mess something up? All other units work fine.

I like how Iccup mapmakers/team has the tag in front of their maps making them easy to find and play, I wonder if it's possible for other decently active mapmakers to give some simple tag to their maps so they'd be easy to track and list and their new uploads would be fast and easy to notice.

Edit: Sorry if this is wrong type of question/suggestion.

Does anyone else see the the Popularity Bar in Use Map Settings in SC2? I don't see it anymore.

Can you maybe be a bit more specific about what's happening or what exactly doesn't work? Should be as easy as placing anything else on the map. Except you try to place it somewhere it's outside of the bounds or on the lowest level possible.

I know that there's a way to stretch the whole map which also changes all the terrain you've already done to the new map size. At least I'm pretty sure I've seen that somewhere a while back^^ I just don't know anymore where I saw it :s

I've seen alot of videos where play around in maps and generate units by typing there names and things like that but I have no idea how people do this is it a map you choose or ? I just want fiddle around with diferent units without having build them all anyone know how to do this ?
