I must say I witness a lot of surprising results at Dreamhack: Bucharest.
First of all - Giantt. I recognize him from WCS Combined Europe and I know he is pretty good, but I would never suspect him making to the RO16 defeating StC and Paranoid along the way and eventually taking one map from Nerchio.
Another person that impressed me is StarNaN. My main question is - who the hell is this guy? I've never heard of him before, but now he is among 8 best players of the tournament after winning vs much more accomplished players. Now I wonder how he will do against Monchi, who won IeSF lately.
I'm also glad for TLO. When JinrO and Haypro retired, my first thought was "oh no! TLO and NonY are next ". And then TLO bumps out of nowhere with really impressive play. However, I'm afraid Nerchio is too strong at the moment. But still it's really nice tournament by German player.
StC and Rain dropping out so early is surprising to me as well. Now the only Korean standing is Sage, who unfortunately has to face MaNa. My Polish heart hurts as Sage is training in Ministry of Win in Poland and MaNa is Polish. I root for both these guys and I really wish there was lower bracket
Still 30 minutes away for next games. I can't wait! Dreamhack is so great tournament

Great thank you very much. Wasn't coming up in TLPD and this is crucial information! I guess Sage is definitely the favourite then

I know next to nothing about Starnan. First time I saw him it was on desRow's stream like two years ago when they were both masters. He was cocky and wrote his stream in game for those who wanted to watch a "good player" (I think he rarely had more than 5 viewers the times I looked him up after that, not even the recent ones). Cool to see him starting to make a name for himself.
