Really? I just saw someone not expand, not tech, and not take advantage of things he could have. What game were you watching?

You thought I was bluffing, but I have 3kings!" "You know we are playing Black Jack and not Texas Hold em?" What are you talking about? He came out ahead of every engagement. If there was an efficient way to deny the planetary at the fourth he wins that game pretty handily (which is probably the purpose of that build). He made it close despite Taeja getting it up. Taeja won, but that game was beyond frustrating. He basically got an upgrade advantage and a planetary up, continued to do nothing special and then Hyun died (no disrespect to Taeja, he's fantastic, he just could have played better).

Positionning, engaging fights properly is the most important thing by far at this lvl, and Hyun did it way better than Taeja in game 2. Then he's clueless because I don't think he has many games where the T holds his 50+bling/ling push. you're really frustrated, because none of your BW gods does superwell, aren't you?

1) Never build Ultras, especially if you are behind, ahead, or even. 2) If you have 1000+ spare gas and no infestation pit, build an infestation pit.

His positioning was excellent though (especially the defensive coverage that allowed him to hold his fourth on a map where it's notoriously hard to do so)

Teaja did the exactly right thing against it: sit the midgame out.

Hyun's problem was that he did nothing at all after delaying that 4th. He didn't get anywhere close to 3/3 or hive, which is just not gonna work 30 minutes into a game, ever.

Because you didn't do any of those things. If you were actually witty it'd be okay, but you posted an awful 1.5 liner in response to a legitimate post. I felt like I was reading "LOL YOUR WRONG" and it hurt my brain. That, and you have like no real posts.

He was a pro gamer before he started SC2, I think he would understand strategy games enough to know that he should plan to transition after damage. Or maybe the coach he lives with would help him? Odds are he's ground out more games in these 2 months than most people have played on this site in 2 years. Could it just be possible that Taeja was the far better player tonight? Taeja was the far better player..that has nothing to do with anything. I was addressing why Hyun played the way he did. He clearly planned a big push and planned to win with it and didn't know how to transition out of it. Taeja is clearly a code S level terran with vastly superior game knowledge...thats why he won. But Hyun showed powerful mechanics and macro, just horrible game knowledge.
