I dismissed it as yet another case of internet weirdness, but some days later I had nothing to do and decided to watch the show's pilot. I was hooked from there on. Getting my GF hooked was easy; after she saw Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie for the first time she was done for and we've watched the whole first season together since. | ||

I was really skeptical of this whole thing especially since the cult following originated off of 4chan, but I still decided to give it a shot and watched episode 7 just for the hell of it. Yes, it's a well-animated and decently written kid's show, but it seems like exactly that, a quality show made for little girls. | ||
