I have no idea how you did it and what you found out, for example what the boundaries are etc. I'm sure many would be delighted to hear ![]() I've been wondering for a long time if it's possible to make a name in Korean letters on the NA or EU servers. The reason why is because it obivously works on KR, but also because you can actually type Korean in any chat in the game and other people can read it I believe, on the EU client and server that is. Also just like in the windows environment when you switch locale this button comes up indication you are using a different character set. The exact same thing happens in pretty much every single field in the blizzard client, looks like this btw [가] if I'm not mistaken. Would love to hear if it's possible <3 Edit: Thanks again NepTuniO ![]()

Anything from Latin Extended B is usable. Just insert into your document, then copy across when you make your character name and it shows up in game. Korean letters do not work. I'm not certain, but I think Latin Extended A *might* work too. Some might not work in Latin Extended B, and some others might work. Just play around with it! I copied them one at a time into my name and saw if they showed up or not

http://www.alanwood.net/unicode/index.html The double dagger can be found under Latin Extended B. So this problem is solved. But µ is greek symbol and the greek unicode table doesn't seem to work. But since there are people with a µ in it I deduce that it can be found under some different table. Searching......

@Nihilon. Over a hundred people seem to have the double dagger. So indeed it might be possible that it will be "fixed". The µ seems really rare. I can only find three people and the normal unicode µ doesn't seem to work.

You mean the heart as part of your character name? Are you trying to change it now?

Searching...... µ is Alt-230 or Alt-0181 and even on the normal German keyboard as AltGr-M since DOS times. On your Unicode page it is under Latin-1 as character 181 and is called "micro sign" and is not "greek small letter mu" from the Greek page.

This leads me to believe that the three people who have it either asked Blizzard specifically for it (which seems unlikely as they are pretty low level player who don't play a lot, so why should they care) or they are using a formally different symbol which just looks like that Latin mu. There's also a third option that Blizzard has blocked it now
