If I forget to run it before I load up SC2, will it still copy across replays to wherever i've set it to next time I load it up? If not is there any way to force it to do so?

Sc2gears has a simple, public replay upload specification. You can upload replays to all sites that implement this interface directly from Sc2gears.
Sc2replayed did not implement this specification so you cannot upload replays to them directly from Sc2gears.

To find out where you can upload replays to, just right click on a replay (or more replays) and choose "Share replays", or choose the "Share replays" menu item from the File menu.

Sc2gears has to run at the time when you finish the game (you can start Sc2gears while you play but do it before you end the game). If Sc2gears was not running at the time when SC2 saves the replay, Sc2gears will not copy replays next time you start it.

If this happens, you can simply copy the replays manually that were missed (either from a file manager or from Sc2gears: right click on replays => Copy replays). You can rename them using the same template you specified for the auto-save: right click on replays => Rename replays.

A thing I would love to see added to sc2gears; in the replay analyzer, it would be helpful with a worker graph and an economy graph in the same coordinate system. Sometimes I find myself watching a replay mainly to see the worker counts, it would help me out a great deal if it were implemented.

I know that there is just the economy-graph after a game, but I feel the number of workers are a bit more accurate, and that also makes it easier to see if you're over-saturated or if you just have too few drones if your economy starts dwindling late game.

I don't know if the data is there to support this, but if you could include the change in worker count over time, would it also be able to break it down into worker action? Like which workers are actively gathering, which are idle, which are building, which are moving, etc.

Unfortunately replays do not contain enough info to calculate current workers (including total, active, idle, building etc) neither to calculate the economy graph.

Replays would I think contain the data for each time a worker is made/killed or mineral mined. Makes it more complicated than just displaying data though but it should be possible? This product just keeps getting so many features, thanks guys

Nope, they don't. The only thing the replay contains is user actions. The game does the rest.

So, you have.
* Worker creation (user queues up a worker)
* Worker selection (user selects and orders a worker to do something)

Not enough info to calculate the number of workers (unfortunately)

I want to add a feature to a website where my own personal replays are uploaded to my site but i'd like it to be automated when the replay saves. Thanks~

Always thought this program was somkinda improved scorescreen. Now I actually looked at the thread and nearly choked on my sandwich when I saw how goddamn big it is. Its got fricking everything but a heart-rate monitor! Or maybe it does and I just haven't found it yet. Feel like a scientist using this. :D

In-game APM display only works if you have "Windowed" or "Windowed (Fullscreen)" mode enabled in StarCraft II.

All you need to do is click on the "On-Top APM display" menu item in the Tools menu. A small panel will appear on top of all windows (including StarCraft II) displaying your current APM. You can drag and relocate this window, you can change the font size, and you can also lock it by right clicking on it and choosing Lock.

Have you ever thought of a dual replay comparison feature? (Maybe it's already there, and I don't see it?)

It would be awesome to overlap resource collection rates graphs between 2 different replays. Is this something that might ever be implemented?

I think it would be great for analyzing the subtle differences when tweaking certain builds. Don't know how many others would appreciate this feature though. Just thought I'd suggest it.

Dakota, is it normal that sc2gears takes up to 500mb of RAM?
Also it takes really long to actually load the application (black screen) and gets laggy over time
